it's probably still better than how LOTD's AI will just straight up freeze for a good two or three minutes if you have it in a corner

I think the idea was to somehow give it to your opponent to lock them out from using anything? At least that's how he uses it in the anime if I remember correctly. I'm not sure there are any spells that were printed in the TCG that can actually give active continuous spells to your opponent though
