Beyond scalping a ps5 I really dont see why anyone would buy the first wave. From all the stuff that's trickeled out like those reports from Bloomberg it seems like sony just focused on shoving some consoles out this year to compete with Microsoft during the holiday season and then will scramble to make more. I wouldnt buy a ps5 until at least 6 months later 2bh.

itll have arbitrary japanese exclusives because theyre simply used to making playstation games and keep going with what works. and the occasional first party title thats actually good and not made by naughty dog.

by the looks of the specs, it will have trouble running games with ray tracing at 4k-60fps, xbox will also have everything that comes out on PC, but it will be the console that runs them best

We still have to see it, phil spencer went after japanese studios to make partnerships and it seems ps5 will not be their only focus next-gen
