Does anyone think Aerith is actually from the future? For example this entire conversation makes sense if you think is the Aerith that died in the original game.

Can be, with both the Sephiroth and Aerith from the original being part of the lifestream outside time.
But I think that dream is just the current Aerith knowing she's supposed to die, that's it.

Also, that line doesnt have to be related to her dying, but she knowing that something is wrong with cloud and that she feels zack inside him. So she says "cloud is probably gonna fell for me, but i know it isnt real because it is zack"

She says something similar in Gold saucer date in the original.

My theory is that she's pulling a Dr. Strange ala endgame. Her Holy materia that "does nothing" actually lets her read the threads of fate or whatever its called thanks to her Cetra lineage. She see's how destiny plays out and the world is ultimately saved even after her death. At the end of the original when the lifestream is stopping meteor, it vaguely looks similar to the time jannies and their tornado shenanigans. Red also stated that they are in fact from the planet too, trying to preserve fate. Sephiroth is also part Cetra and can see what these time jannies/aerith are doing and obviously doesn't like it at all because he sees his own demise at clouds hands. So he attempts to play cloud into fucking with aeriths plan and offers him 7 seconds to change things, knowing it will cause a major course change in fate.

Horribly explained, but there it is. I have no idea where they'll go with part 2.

In the original she knows all about the ancients and how to do stuff way before he temple of the ancients. Also She doesnt learn about holy in the temple of the ancients. She always knew she had holy. She always knew something.

Cloud doesnt have zack's memories nor feelings but she knows cloud has a false persona. Still his feelings for his friends and Aerith are real.

Aerith is a Cetra. The Cetra communicated with the Planet. Aerith can communicate with the Planet. Destiny is the Planet's will expressed in linear continuity, past, present, future.

Okay, so I've just got done with the game. What the fuck was with that over the top ending? The original did things much more subtly. I'd rather just have left Midgar normally than fight destiny incarnate, then Sephiroph, then be confronted by myself.
Don't get me wrong, most of the game was fun, but this seems like some AC level fanfiction tier writing. When I play the second part in one, or two years I'm going to feel like I've already been through the overarching climax of the game already because of how over the top it was.

You need to be kind to aerith too, get her the super dress, get the talk to flowers scene and pick her at the sewers.

Its beyond me why people pick tifa on this whilst all tifa does is being jealous and complain, Aerith brings very insightful development if you want to know the canon of the game that is.

I'm more worried the second game is going to be another prequel with Zack, leading up to him showing up at the end of R. Seems like an easy way to avoid character / stat progression too.

I don't care, I just don't want to see any ghost shit. It's interrupting the flow of the story knowing full well what the characters are well capable of (Cloud finishing Reno off) yet being stopped by a deus ex machina. Now that we supposedly defeated the ghost daddy and Square has seen how much the concept has been shat on we will be free of them. Hopefully they just wanted a part 1 boss though the edge of creation ass pulling leaves me doubtful.
