PC doesn't have all the story stuff
you cucked yourself

that wasnt my complaint tho. Does the music get better or its just shit?

I don’t have the pc version. does it use the synth soundtrack? if so, there’s your problem. the symphonic version of the ost is far better but still repetitive as all fuck so you’ll just have to deal with it unfortunately

to me this shit is symphonic, is hard to imagine a synth one being even worse than this

You can mod the symphonic OST in

from what I heard you get different tracks as the game goes on, but I haven’t gotten that far yet. all I can do for you is bump the thread in hopes someone will give you a better answer

the soundtrack is supposed to be bad, just like the gameplay and worldbuilding. It's part of the experience.

Ive been meaning to play this, what's the best way to play it, PS4?

Switch for content, graphics and modding goes to PC, PS4 is cucked

At least puff-puffs are good.

Damn, was hoping it would cut down the middle with good enough graphics on PS4 and full content. Guess im busting out the switch.

You get used to the fucking lame tracks later on. It's a 120 hours game after all.

despite the pop in and fps drops in towns the switch version is pretty nice. it’s not like fps matters in an rpg of all things

Didn't like it all, it had all the typical jprg clichés.

Dragon Quest is where every non-porn baseline JRPG cliche came from.

That's true, its just irritating that you cant always get the best out of a game when it exists you know? Thanks for the info though, ill pick it up once I wrap up this Breath Of Fire playthrough.

What story stuff?

There's additionally character stories in the 2nd Act.

yeah I get you, but that ball’s on square’s court and chances are they won’t be giving two fucks about porting the S version content elsewhere for at least a year or so. at least the switch is somewhat moddable so maybe there will be some neat stuff in the future if you got a hacked unit

You can mod the music to the orchestral version.

Yea but that shits gay and ruins the pacing of the game. PS4 was better when you got to find out with main character what has happened since.

No its shit. You can mod in the orchestral versions. They're still shit. The composer is some old retarded fuck obsessed with shitty music and holds all the strings at the company.

>Just got this on pc

Second best version, but damn man. You're missing out.

I played on Switch so I don't know what the music on the PC's like, but I found it perfectly fine. You can always download/install the orchestral soundtrack for PC if you'd prefer that though.

Yep, its the safest JRPG made in years. Nothing interesting or original to say about it.

I got bored about 40 hours into the grind after the world ended.

Switch is the definitive version. PC is the version for graphicfags.

PS4 version is unironically the worst in all respects. No story and gameplay improvements like the Switch and worse graphics than the PC. The people who supported the game at release really got shafted here.

>Damn, was hoping it would cut down the middle with good enough graphics on PS4 and full content. Guess im busting out the switch.

Switch graphics are perfectly fine. You're only going to see a noticeable improvement by going to the PC version, only difference I saw between PS4 and Switch in general gameplay (that is, without doing side by side comparisons) was some more pop-ins.

Thought on this mod?

>Switch fags desperate for any games feel the need to claim every port they get allowed is the best version

>A whole host of gameplay improvements (way less grind for ingredients, way less tedium, etc)
>Tickington and some story behind that and what's been going on
>Character stories for everyone in the meantime: Some are hit, some are misses. Erik's is odd. Jade's is good. Rab's is good. Sylvando's is okay.
>Jade doesn't get raped
>More Wheels of Hama, able to surpass even Erdwin and truly impress Pang
>Another Superboss

etcetc

Yeah, but it runs at 1440p@144fps and you can mod in the full symphonic soundtrack which even the switch version doesn't have so keep coping bingcuck

I dunno man, the Switch version sounds like the best here. How are the other versions better? All the PS4 and PC versions have is better graphics. Less content, worse soundtrack, no gameplay improvements.

Sell me on the PC version then

>144fps in a turn based JRPG
>At the cost of less story, less gameplay, and more grind

Is all of that only included in the switch version or what?

PS4 is the worst version
Can't be modded like PC, doesn't have the extra content of Switch

don't you ever get bored

op here, so i was looking into this and not only there is the moddable symphonic version (which is still dog shit) but there is one mod at nexus that replaces a lot of the awful songs with ones from the previously DQ games, and so far its fucking great specially the world map music which is the worst the game has to offer

>>Character stories for everyone in the meantime: Some are hit, some are misses. Erik's is odd. Jade's is good. Rab's is good. Sylvando's is okay.
Yea I played both PS4 and Switch version, was just making sure that is what user was talking about. Said it above, I hated the added story parts and think they add nothing. We know enough from what they told us in the original version to figure out what happened, don't need to see it/be forced to play it, and compared to the PS4 version, it really just slows down the story there for a couple hours. Nothing new was gained. That's my opinion though. Only good thing that came was finding out Booga was a retard who likely didn't rape Jade. Still hate the whole possession thing, but whatever.

As long as it adds

Bought the switch version the other day, never played a dragon quest game before

It's pretty easy but for some reason super comfy

Veronica needs a hard dick tho

Yeah

Not a fan of the Nexus mod I think you're talking about because it does questionable shit like replace the intro, title, and boss music while swapping out songs that are in the game that were already from other DQ games. Also the arrangement of Adventure was good.

>It's pretty easy but for some reason super comfy

Comfy is correct, but DQ11S is actually unironically much harder than most JRPG's I've played, especially when you get into endgame/superboss content and especially if you're playing with the challenge modes on.

>tfw the 3DS version is completely forgotten
