If you bought the Java Edition of Minecraft before October 19, 2018 you can claim a free copy of the modern Bedrock Edition of Minecraft on Windows 10.
This version of minecraft is written in C++ instead of Java and much more stable, and more importantly it is free. >Navigate to mojang.com >Click the Account button in the top right corner >Login >Click the Redeem button beneath Minecraft: Bedrock Edition for Windows 10.
yes vertical slabs sure limit my creativity >10 minecoins have been deposited in your account

Wait, it's written in C++? If yes, and if it's not a hack job, then there is much more to be talked about than just extra stability. Java puts a huge overhead on whatever program is written with it. That's why it's hardly ever used for games. Same for C#, btw. If it is decently written in C++, that should mean much, much better optimization. Someone who's PC struggles to run Java edition should have no pob running the C++ version, even with HD texture packs and shit like that.

Is it worth free? Maybe. I haven't even installed it. I'm playing 1.12.2. It's FREE, I'm telling people to hurry up and get it if they can so they don't have to buy it in the future if they want to check it out.
I'm bored of CE as well. I just want Halo 3 but even when it is released the matchmaking will still be fucked up and not as good as it was on xbox.

Yes, it's C++ and it's optimized ten times better than Optifine is. It just has no fucking mods and they charge you for their shitty tiny mods (data packs)
Alexander Nguyen
true man true but fuck it, I bought a x360 a few years ago just for the campaign, MP is a bonus bc I bothered to actually buy this one. better than nothing man, h2,3 are the ones people are actually wiating for so hopefully there wont be a fucking huge queue like there is for reach/ce

Why doesn't it have mods? Just lack of interest from the modding community, or is it difficult to do?
Xavier Sanchez
lying bastard, i go to mojang.com and it takes me to minecraft.net, even on that website i still cant find redeem bedrock edition buttons
Austin Taylor
>playing survival oh but you do it for the ""challenge"" of eating one steak every minute am i right? not because you just build a shitshack and say that's all the resources you have on hand, sure dude totally
>bedrock comes out >cant directly transfer mods over >java already has a massive established user base >nobody puts the effort in to rewrite the mods because there's no point >new players on bedrock don't know/care
>You must be signed into a Microsoft/Xbox Live account in order to redeem the code. Please note that you cannot move the license once the code has been redeemed. Your code is saved on your Mojang account page for future reference.
Its absolutely hilarious how pozzed bedrock is, especially considering literally everything it charges for can be gotten for free in java with zero effort.
