We're home. Ray Tracing is no longer a meme and we can finally make otherworldly stuff like this

It's really fucking magical

Is this supposed to be impressive?

Looks like my first Autocad render.

No. Just neat

so what is raytracing

Post the neon city comparison instead of boring white walls

little rays shoot out from the camera and bounce around and light up the world which makes it look more realistic

NO U

They need to fix fucking trees.
Those techniques to render trees are retarded.

Whats the difference? Just some fucking bloom.

and AA

No indirect lighting, bad shadows, and you can also use colored glass to alter the color of the light going through it

>most of the video is just staring at fucking ducting

My white concrete is better than your white concrete

Does it still suffer from the slow flood kind of effect when the lighting changes, as was seen in the early demonstration videos?

Looks slightly better than mirrors edge. Ray tracing really is a meme.

Yes, if something is out of sight and you jump, it becomes dark and splotchy before it updates. There are also some bad ghosting and other visual glitches

reminds me of mirror's edge

Post proofs. Mirrors edge is old as fuck, you don't even remember that it looked like shit even back then.
