Smash

So considering that AT LEAST one more anime swordsman character is practically guaranteed for DLC. Who's it gonna be?

smash is gay lol

Rex
Correct

I am gay, and I play smash, so this is a scientifically accurate statement.

We all know it's going to be Rex.

Say hello to the Terry of Pass 2 (aka the dark horse pick that bafflingly few people even consider).

Sora

Dark Souls guy

Here you go, user.

>Medicore game that took away all the fun from the first
It'll be irrelevant by the time passes are called

Still 2 years until the final fighter of this pass. What if another Fire Emblem game is made between then or coming out shortly after the final fighter deadline and they shill yet another FE game.

You know they will

An 8th gen pokemon is way more likely than another FE rep

>Capeless Roy
I believe it.

By "anime swordsman" do you just mean another fire emblem rep?

Your opinion is irrelevant, ESLfag.

>Say hello to the Terry of Pass 2
I thought that was Hayabusa.

Time for the nintendo mobile rep

Adol would be super based tho

At that point I don't think it'd be an explosively angry reaction like Byleth. People aren't entirely discounting the possibility of more FE after Byleth, and it'd just come to sheer disappointment more than anything else.
Hayabusa was the polar opposite of Terry for Pass 1, user.
>Terry came as a total shock because only a handful of people ever considered SNK to be in the picture, much less that Sakurai would go for their best known character
>Hayabusa was widely speculated before Joker was even revealed and was basically considered a 100% guaranteed lock, when he actually amounted to jack shit for Pass 1
Although I won't deny the possibility of Hayabusa for Pass 2, for some reason he strikes me as someone whose best shot would have been in the base game roster.

>Travis
>Ninjala rep
>Hayabusa
>Dante
>Monster Hunter
>Doom Man
>Amaterasu
Take your pick

this

Either
>Lloyd
>Dante
>Travis
>Sora
>Hayabusa
>Issac
>Rex
>2B
>Monster Hunter

Any issues I'd have with Adol would be 100% forgiven if he came with any tracks from the PC Engine CD version of Ys 3 (or a remix of the PCCD's sweet intro song).

Frog or Crono, I hope. But we're gonna get another FE character.

I'd like to see a Monster Hunter character in game. If they do, it should be a prowler. A hunter changing weapons for different attacks would be dumb. Like Byleth.

Holy shit would he be fucking cool. Imagine the bumper cars gimmick, imagine Darm Tower, imagine if Koshiro were to come back to Ys in remixing the Ark-era tracks and the modern era's tracks, just imagine the Ys tracks in general.

>Hayabusa was the polar opposite of Terry for Pass 1 because:
Well damn, never thought about it that way. Always figured he was possible on account of him being a company's posterboy like Terry.
Sell me on Adol, boys. What can he do to differentiate from the other sword users in the game?

I want this dude

I remain hopeful.

bump

>endless moveset potential thanks to using rapiers, straight swords, shields and greatswords (each with different weights and feels), and all the crazy magic shit he's used throughout the series
>specifically: magic staves from Ys II could fire off homing energy orbs, teleport, reflect projectiles, and transform the user into a demon
>special bump gimmick derived from the oldest games: when Adol collides into an opponent when they're facing each other, they both take damage and knockback, but when Adol collides into an opponent's back, only the opponent takes any knockback and damage
>may bring better music than any other smash character has or will
Let's just say that Adol has gathered enough material for three completely different characters with three different playstyles to work with, during his long and storied history in gaming. The fact that he wields a sword, which will cause rosterfags to suffer instantaneous aneurysms on announcement is only a bonus.
