i mean true action like the old .hack games.
JRPG thread
SNES has more colors and pixels but GBC version has all the SOUL.
Continuing with the second King's Field after having beaten the first game. While I'm enjoying it, I'm seeing it has the same downward difficulty curve as the previous one. At the beginning it's incredibly easy to die but at this point for me when I unlocked the gold fountain and found some loot it pretty much seems impossible. I even stopped playing cautiously as I did at the beginning because I know I can so easily heal and replenish mana. Still it's all kept up by the great atmospher and exploration. I'm constantly suprised at how inter-connected the world is.
You will be missed, old man whom I've only known for 5 minutes...
play skies of arcadia!
Nice, that's what got me into Dragon Quest too. How far are you?
Dragon Quest is pure comfy. It's as traditional JRPG as you can get but in such a wonderful way. It really is a SNES JRPG with enhanced graphics unlike every JRPG post PS2.
Just beat Secret Of Mana while waiting for the Trial of Mana full release. Man that was so short and easy. Now im browsing this thread looking for games.
I'm catching up with a bunch of RPGs.
I'm finishing up CF route in FETH. I already did VW and I don't care enough about Dmitri or Rhea to do those routes. Especially since people say SS is just VW with white borders.
I'm a few chapters into Disgea 5. I like it but it seems the main character is OP? I just toss him in to a group of enemies and he counterkills everything. I like a lot of the generic units, very cute overall.
and I've got World of Final Fantasy Maxima in waiting as well. I'm a sucker for Chibis.
I've dropped Labyrinth of Refrain for the time being as well as Ring Fit Adventure.
