Super Tux

dorf

Mostly emulators. I have a Windows partition for actual PC games

Harvest Moon Light of Hope runs well with Proton.

emulating wind waker

civ4

Nethack

Yeah vidya is too much of a fucking hassle to set up on Linux. I have a Windows specifically for this that I don't even allow to connect to the internet.

why is Dolphin the only non-open-source emulator? Is it developed by complete retards?

honestly i just run a windows vm in qemu and pass through my graphics card for most games.

>non-open-source emulator
you are retarded.

Anyone tried Bannerlord here? How does it work?

Minecraft

>play video games on Linux every day
>go on Yas Forums and see "lmao you can't play video games on Linux" every day

shit, you are correct, I am retarded
I was thinking of Cemu, not Dolphin.
Will have to damage my brain even more in order to start caring about Nintendo

Boomer shit.

Crazy Taxi (Steam version, using Proton 5.0-5)
Hexen II (using Hammer of Thyrion 1.5.8)
Tomb Raider I (Steam version, using Boxtron/dosbox-staging)
Heretic (using GZDoom 4.3.3)
Alone in the Dark 2 (GOG version, using Boxtron/dosbox-staging after importing into Steam)

For games that require source ports and emulators to run properly, there's literally no reason to use Windows, and older Windows-native games tend to work with Proton pretty consistently as well. This isn't to say that newer games never work, but I just haven't played any lately.

Sid Meier's Colonization through DOSBox
it's been comfy

Tux Racer
console
Libre Office
GIMP

Mostly emulators, I'm surprised by how well RPCS3 runs on my older machine. All these games except MGS4 work very well.

Deus Ex Human Revolution, UNICLR and Risk of Rain 2. Has anyone been able to get Doom Eternal running through regular wine without recompiling it?

Why regular wine? Just use the Proton fork from here, it runs DOOM Eternal flawlessly.

I'm running the cracked version, I could launch it with proton I guess, I only have a Windows SSD for games where this happens.

Cemu isn't open source because it's almost certain that the devs got a hold of some leaked documentation about the WiiU architecture and don't want to blow the lid on the whole thing

Golly gee that is one hot penguin tho, look at the stomach

Basically anything. Looking to upgrade my parts soon though, I want to move on to 1440p.

Here's a pity (You) for the Windows shills desperately trying to start shit ITT and getting no replies.

I used to do this and didn't bother looking up how to disable updates on W10. After breaking multiple times with auto-updates I just kinda gave up on it, so if something doesn't work on Linux I just forget about it because it's not worth the hassle.

Minecraft runs better on Linux than it does Windows, for me.
Nearly anything on my Steam Library thanks to Proton
