Switching to PC

I'm a lifelong consolefag that is finally switching to a PC for next gen, and I have a few questions:
1) Do you have any advice on getting the most of my budget, or what's different about playing on PC in general?
2) Does anyone feel like commenting on my build before I go ahead with it?

3) I'm looking for a 2 TB HDD to add to this for extra storage, do you have any recs?

Finally, do you think it'll keep pace with a next-gen console? Sorry for the complete newfag questions, but it's hard to understand the wide range of details on PC specs, and I would like it if anyone helped.

I don't think you really need 3600mhz RAM.
Go with some Team T-Group 16GB 3200MHZ and shave off an extra $20
As for storage, it doesn't really matter what brand

Im no expert but generally I hear people like to stick to the same types for CPU/GPU combos, instead of mixing and matching intel and amd.

AMD GPUs are shit.
AMD CPU + NVIDIA GPU is the way to go nowadays

meh, I just went intel/intel

it's fine for a midranger

Don't listen to the AMD fanboyism going here. Intel is way more expensive but it will give you way better performance.

I fell for the AMD meme when I build my current rig and while it has served me well for almost six years I could done better.

>intel/intel
The new Intel GPUs aren't even out yet. Are you running integrated graphics in 2020?

Thanks.
Is HDD failure a meme? I've heard some brands are less reliable than others.
