Seems like SMT 3 would be a good game right now
>World ending
>No one outside
>Protagonist is autistic
JRPG
Damn, beat me to the punch. Ah well.
Anyway, I got some constructive criticism and deserved callouts for my stupidity over that beginner's / essential JRPG list over in the last thread. What follows is still fairly rough, but ideally a step in a better direction...
>Chrono Trigger
>Final Fantasy VI/VII
>Shin Megami Tensei IV
>Dragon Quest VIII (or XI)
...along with a few uncertain picks.
>Etrian Odyssey III
>Radiant Historia
>TWEWY
>Trails in the Sky
I say "uncertain" because these three seem great from what I've heard, but I dunno if the same can be said in the context of a "beginner JRPG". Elaborations and criticisms would be greatly appreciated.
>>World ending
Kinda, sorta, not really? I dunno, the whole Vortex World thing is sorta weird.
>>No one outside
Random large-map encounters would beg to differ

I'm going to play one jrpg. Name the best one. Not chrono trigger I beat that.
Final Fantasy X
Yeah I should finish that.
Is Ys any good? The one on switch is half price at the moment.
