its not really comparable to overwatch other than there is abilities, but the abilities are strongly linked in utility and a lot of it is gunplay
the better question is why wouldn't i just play CS? and the answer to that is.. i dunno. CS is fine. i'm looking forward to trying valorant.

PvE should fix the issue for people who want to enjoy the characters without the agony of slowly losing unwinnable games. With that said, just queuing in quick play classic usually gets you a good time.
