It offers nothing to the game really. It is about the same level of value as tagging a character gay just for flavor. To be fair I'm the guy who prefers realistic armies in my games so I suppose the content is entirely not my thing but still. Let modded deal with making coomer shit, they do a better job anyway. Developers should focus more on making a game not shit, not skimpy bonus content clothing.

I don't mind it when there's not much of it (though it feels out of place period in some stuff). I just hate when it's used in such quantities that it's obviously the selling point, because it usually means that it's trying to make up for some more important elements being lacking. Optional stuff like the Fatal Frame stuff is fine though.
