To be fair I'm the guy who prefers realistic armies in my games so I suppose the content is entirely not my thing but still. Let modded deal with making coomer shit, they do a better job anyway. I don't mind it when there's not much of it (though it feels out of place period in some stuff). I just hate when it's used in such quantities that it's obviously the selling point, because it usually means that it's trying to make up for some more important elements being lacking. Optional stuff like the Fatal Frame stuff is fine though.

Not really. They're all kinda stand alone stories with few call backs to previous games. One of the playable characters is a daughter of the first game's protagonist but her story is explained and happily concluded in this game anyway.

This seems to be true enough. Most of my friends these days are easily lead into things because of fanservice. Porn has been my job for the last five years and while I still do greatly enjoy it, it's very rare for fanservice to get my attention in a good way.
