Frogposter with the shit take, nothing new here

Real question is, what are they going to do about PvP servers and faction balance?
Everyone knows TBC gave Horde elves because they were -under-populated at the time and needed a pretty race to even it out, but now they're overpopulated and it's just going to get worse with Horde having Paladins (and better ones at that)
I've been playing Alliance on a server that floats between 60-40 to 65-35 Horde-favor and I don't complain now even though it sucks balls trying to do any farming in the open world, but if my server goes on to TBC it's gonna turn into 80-20 at best, maybe even 85-15, and the bored gankers are gonna have flying mounts. Why even bother playing Alliance on a PvP server like that?
forced faction queues that prevent server imbalances from getting too bad, it's the only way to prevent 85-15 horde to alliance realms and 99-1 alliance to horde ones.
I'm happy that I have no idea what half of those words mean.
MMOfags are cancer
Blizzard would cave in because people would cry about totally not being able to play with their friends
Not interested in classic but id love to play TBC because the pvp was the best the series has ever had, hands down no argument. Please blizz dont fuck this up.
tbc is when pvp went to shit because of pvp stats
why would you want more nostalgiatrash when Shadowlands is launching this year?
People who still give Blizzard money need to be euthanized.
just pick a server that is alliance favored
mercenary mode, let horde players temporarily play for the alliance during BGs, and same in reverse.
Mercenary mode is on retail and effectively just makes the horde's life better. It doesn't entice me to go back alliance at all.
>Not playing enhance with double mongoose in BC
Its like you don't want to have fun or something
Resource control is also be a problem, 60-40 Horde is likely to dominate farming spots which can drive PVE players away and make the server look unattractive to new people
>tfw bc destro and affliction warlocks
>tfw bc shadow priests
>tfw bc two handed enhancer shamans
>tfw bc feral bear dps
>tfw bc arcane mages
>tfw bc ret palys
i might actually sub again just so i can actually have fun with well designed classes again
>blizzard will release TBC classic instead of classic plus
It hurts bros. Not all of tbc was bad but I hate what flying mounts did to the game world man. Also seal of blood needs to be given to both factions or else the no changes crowd is going to fuck this up too.
Absolute brainlet post
I mean at some point the alliance just has to get good. There's not much else to it. If horde is raping you at every turn maaaybe it's not entirely their fault all the time. Maybe try grouping up or leveling or doing PVE content to gear better?
absolutely nobody here played BC in its day if they dont remember stormherald
blood elves were a mistake. so was the drenei retcon. solution: make changes, add high elves to alli, and ogres/goblins to horde. Or preferably, add something else to alli, elves are for faggots
You'd think that, but once the open world farming died down after about 3 or 4 months on classic, even my 70-30 realm has the outnumbered faction dominating all the A tier farm spots 24/7, but that may be just because all the S tier ones are inside dungeons.
I still play on a tbc private server, havent skipped a step since it came out.
Oh yeah just do instanced dungeons forever lmao
At some point you can't do much against 1v3 calling their 10 friends because that's the only pvp action they'll get this week.
BC shadow priests are overhyped, they feel so much worse to play than Classic ones in any setting that isn't raid DPS.
TBC is even more of a case of you-think-you-do-but-you-don't than Vanilla.
Everyone knows the PvP meta for every season. It'll be a shitshow when everyone just plays RMP, WLD, WRD and whathaveyou. Glaives will absolutely destroy the game, just like they did back then, and everyone who can't get a pair will quit.
they wont do shit about it.
they didnt do shit about it in vanilla, they didnt do shit about it in 15 years of retail and they didnt do shit about it in classic.
why would they care all of a sudden?
Im just tryna get my brutal glad and stance dance my balls off on arms warr, cant wait.
I probably enjoyed TBC Class design the most. I'd love to give it a shot.
horde only pvp if they outnumber you 3 to 1.
>see an arms warrior with stunherald come swooping out of the sky at you
>tailed by his pocket rest druid
Yea, no thanks. I don't miss that BS.
Warriors are overrated. This is not 2008 where 70% of the player base used to click spell and backpedaling.
They are going to be cc into oblivion and mortal strike healing reduction with mace specs isn't going to change anything.
Mana drain is going to be the meta. I cant wait to see all the DH retail zoomer rolling a war for ez gear stuck at 1600
I miss TBC so much bros ;_;
my warlock is already god tier and I cant wait to be even more overpowered
Doesn't change the fact that it will be shit because people already know what works and what doesn't work. It's a solved game and it's going to be even more awful when the PvP is now competitive.
>had 3 different tiers of health pots bound
The struggle's real.
>TBC+
A shame that's never happening
Enjoy casting 2 spells in TBC.
>pve cuck
>Arena
>Resilience
>Flying Mounts
No.
N-no u...
There is no 'getting good' once you tip futher than 60:40. That's 50% more Horde already, and they will tip much much further than 60:40 in TBC.
Let's say you git gud, you're a pvp god and you win any 1v1. As each side calls for more backup, that 1v1 becomes a 2v3, then a 4v6, etc
Eventually Horde zugzugs their way to victory and the only way to counter it is to have your own pvp raid, which is not realistic for farming at popular farm spots and such. It spirals further out of control as Alliance realize it's futile and switch to farming in instances, further tilting the number of people actually farming in the open world.
And that's being generous with a 60:40 scenario, I'm betting 75:25 average on PvP servers at best is more realistic, at which point you can just forget about resource control ever.
If server transfers stay open and uninhibited, I fully expect to see every PvP server eventually become >90% for one faction. But maybe you can transfer to one of the 90% Alliance servers and show everyone how to just git gud :^)
>>forget that 50% of the players are warriors
But thats fine considering tbc melee are shit
>destro plebeians
Why you shitters trying to imitate mages?
People dont want a previous expansion they're chasing how much they enjoyed playing the game and the sense of community and non scripted unintentionally enjoyable things they had.
It was fun to go kill the horde in hammerfall with my brothers and then the horde would log their mains and get some guildies and then eventually it would devolve into a shitfest.
It was fun putting together 25 man pug ulduars runs getting people from trade chat.
It was fun shit posting in trade chat without cry babies.
Everybody nowadays sits in their small gated communities and dont interact you cant get that back its an online cultural change.
MMOS are dead because of the people playing them.
>ugly ass dwarf
As someone who has played on TBC private servers for the last 6 years, you seriously have no clue for how broken arenas can be. You thought back in TBC was stupid? Well you are in for some serious shit because we have min maxd arena teams and you are in for a wild ride.
I'll also mention unless blizzard times ssc/tk with the arena seasons as well as crafted items then you are going to have some real OP metas going on.
Enjoy seeing priest/druid/warrior 3v3s decked out in t5 with skillherald in season 1 which will never even come close to death.
I look forward to absolutely rolling my balls all over people who think it's going to be just like it was 10 years ago.
>Not going for those crusader procs and massive STR boost.
WELL TIMED MACE STUN, BRO.
>implying mages could ever compete with 8k shadow bolt spam or demo aoe fuckery
horde get draenei and ally get belfs
It's even more of a shitshow then that my friend. I'm a TBC private server veteran who also played during TBC with a Rank1 during season 4. Private servers have min maxd so hard that you won't even see warlocks anymore.
2v2 will be warrior druid, priest mage with a few a shadow priest rogues, rogue mages and rogue priests thrown in. Maybe a single good enh shaman + druid team running around.Everything else isnt even close.
3v3 will basically be priest, druid, warrior dominating. Its ridiculously good. Thrown in a few RMPs.
5v5 is is a little more variation but not much. Rmpwd dominates hard.
3v3 will
Fuck TBC. I leveled in classic FOR classic. I'm going to stick with classic. I don't give a frenchmans fuck about faggy blood elves or shamans on alliance or whatever other bullshit. We're not even all the way through classic progression yet and Blizzard is already throwing a wrench in the works by letting everyone know that the moment the sweaties and shitjuggers have finished with Naxx and start crying for a new toy daddy blizzard is going to swoop in and cater to babies that whine about "stagnation" if there's more than one month without something "new" for them to sweat over.
so the community is going to get fractured again, and every nostalgiagoggles boomer and faggot streamer fanboy is going to make the leap to BC and leave classic servers empty. Enjoy no more world pvp I guess. And in a few years when you're finished playing with your NEW jingling keys toy in BC where are you faggots gonna go then? Classic+ was our only hope and you retards killed the dream
The point was that affliction is the superior experience, as should be evident by replying to "Enjoy casting 2 spells." Maximizing uptime of 5+ DoTs all with different durations while managing mana in three bars and two abilities and fitting in shadowbolts wherever possible is the big brain DPS experience. There is no rotation, only your ability to think on the fly.
Mana drain won't be at high tier areas. Double healer 3v3s will be everywhere so stings won't be an issue and pve gear for regeneration.
2v2 is druid again to dispel stings and avoid mana burn in bear form + dwarf priests everywhere. People know what to do to avoid mana drain teams now pretty easily.
The meta for 2v2 on Warmane's latest (now ded) TBC server at the end of its S4 life was Rogue/Druid, Warrior/Druid, Rogue/Rogue, and Ret/R.Sham (Horde only, needs Seal of Blood to work)
Druids and Rogues just don't stop getting better with each season
Should I stick with my enhance for TBC or reroll shockadin?
Can't wait for you to face someone who has been playing on arena tournament for the last 5 years. Warlocks are a B tier class in Tbc for areas maybe even C tier.
*farts in your mouth*
didnt read kid
based and dwarfpilled
I am not playing a game with blood elves
tbc will be a mistake
the game with be 95% blood elves
Crusader got nerfed post level 60, you'd have to be a moron to use it over mongoose.
i only played arena poorly as rogue in tbc, how is rogue overall in tbc? atm i'm a dps god and everyone wants me in groups for everything but if rogue drops off a bit for tbc i could reroll i guess. not interested in warlock though. how's hunter in arena and raid dps?
they should just make progressive servers that cycle through vanilla -> tbc -> wotlk -> reboot
If you are a good enh shaman then stick with enh. You have a few A tier arena combos you can run no problem for Gladiator. Could even try for rank 1 if you have enough RMPs to farm in 3v3.
2v2
Enh druid
3v3
Enh druid hunter
This can farm every single RMP if you are good.
5v5
Can run a lot of good combos.
Shockadin is absolutely garbage.
How is this going to effect vanilla classic? I can see them just flat out "upgrading" all the servers
I never saw many good ret, resto shaman 2v2s. I thought this was a meme team.
Rogues won't dominate as hard I don't think when you consider that most wont have war blades and a mix of s4/t6 gear.
i hope they let us stay on classic indefinitely and attain bis naxx gear
How did each shaman spec perform in pve and pvp?
Rogues are A tier for areas and are AAA+ tier if you can get glaives and pve gear to use in arenas.
Hunters are B tier. They do alright but will lose to a an A tier team if they know what to do.
>>people are getting bored of vanilla
>>asking for burning crusade
Shut it down. You literally think you do but you don't
>GIB US WOW :(
>WOW THIS IS BORING GIB US BC
>WOW WE BEAT IT GIB US WOTLK
>WOW I REMEMBER THIS GIB US CATACLYSM
I hope blizzard says fuck off and goes under.
Take the FFXIV pill
*mouth was closed*
gross, is this how you act when people insult your toy?
How did or how will they? TBC wont be the same as back then since pvp has been min maxd pretty hard.
In pve all 3 specs were AAA tier.
Resto shamans chain heal was the best in the game without failure.
Election shamans did good dps.
Enh shamans did good dps and boosted melee dps with buffs.
But heroism was HUGE. You will always get an invite and will have a great time.
For areas?
If you are a good enh shaman you have a few teams that are viable. But you seriously need to know your shit.
Resto is alright but outclassed hard by priests and druids.
Ele shaman is dogshit in all teams and is B or even C tier in 5v5.
If you roll shaman them my advice is resto or enhancement. You will have a fun time.
Maybe Outland was just a meme server but it was occasionally R1 over there once people had S3/S4 gear. Horde Rets also had good representation on 5s teams (but nothing for 3s really). Guess we'll see in TBC Classic.
>it's the only way
or they could just balance the game better. "no changes" is a meme.
I already did, xivfriend.
