When should I use the stone tablets? I'm playing NOTR, by the way, going to start the expansion soon.

When you can't train from teachers anymore, LP cost increases the more skill you have so it's best to spend as much LP as possible first because it's cheaper

I guess I should wait until I pass the 60 points mark? I plan on investing only in STR and one-handed skill, by the way

60-90 is fine I think, also make potions that give you permanent STR

I already unlocked the option for learning it (from that alchemist in Khorinis), but 20 LP is a crazy amount, it's literally two entire levels and I don't know when I'll be able to afford such luxury
I'm currently level 10 with 20 LP left to spare, but I'd rather invest half into STR and half into one-handed skill

You can get something like 40 str from making potions if you find all the necessary plants to it's worth it in the long run

Eh, I want to play the game blind (I found four king 's sorrel's for now) instead of following a map and hunting for specific plants, which is why I'm not sure if I'll stick with the potions, but I better decide if I'll do it or not because it will be harder to level up later on

any maps like these for valley and expansion worlds?

Don't you also get +1 STR everytime you eat a certain number of apples?
