Japanese is not an ugly language, you've just got some screws loose in your head. The only really ugly languages are the ones that use the throat to create nasty sounds like they're going to huck a loogie, like Arabic for example. African click languages aren't very nice sounding either.

Just finished unlocking all the characters. Cavendish is the most fun mechanically but I love unga bunga as Kaido

Story mode sucks ass. Characters were cut to be sold as DLC. Characters that felt awesome to play in PW3 like tashigi are unplayable in 4. Logia niggers are just a pain in the ass to fight against. Armor is retarded. Only improvements are the aerial combos and the map design. Really disappointing game overall. Maybe they will get it right in PW5.

Those are some minor complains and there are improvements such as special attacks, the level/skill system, the graphics, the overall pace, etc. And there are more playable characters despite the cuts, and like you said there is more coming as DLC.
Earlier games are dated as hell compared to this too. Calling it a downgrade instead of weighing the pros and cons is a bit much.

probably not, but I don't see how you can enjoy it when Luffy's voice is kind of unbearable to listen to in English dub. Dub is alright except for Whitebeard
