It looked kinda nice desu. The mood came across quite well with the visuals. If I remember right the controls were a bit clunky at times, but it worked out alright since it didn't interfere with the game's pacing. Mostly it was the constant fear of perma-death that really tied everything together. Entering a dungeon alone and leaving as a group was pretty cool. It tried something most games would never dare to and I think it pulled it off reasonably well.
