It only rehashes 2 in going back to the base moveset. The level design has way more inspired gimmicks like Galaxy Man's teleporters, Tornado Man's rotating platforms, and Jewel Man's swinging platforms. As for the instant death traps everywhere, acquire proficiency.
Does Yas Forums like Mega Man?
It was deliberately designed as a successor to 2, just without any of the jank that came with being a NES game.
It's probably the most difficult game in the franchise that isn't broken, but it's all the better for it.
I'm going through all the collections and Ill give some random thoughts
7 is very underrated, it's one of the most fun classic games to me. And going from 8 to 9/10 is rough, they feel like a step back. From now on I'm just going to play 9 and 10 after 2 or 3 and go from 8 to 11.
X6 is also underrated, it's got problems for sure but it's worth playing. The worst part is the entire magma stage, fuck the donut miniboss spam.
X8 really felt like a step in the right direction and had a lot going for it, too bad half the levels were autoscrolling shit and the other half were fairly gimmicky. I have no idea why they thought 4 autoscrolling stages was a good idea, it would have been perfect otherwise.
Ranking in the zero series is bullshit, especially 2. It sucks missing out on stuff because forms and ex skills are tied to rank, and it's infuriating getting 93 and still getting a B.
9 and 10 are my least favorite classic games t b h
>Teppen added a Sigma card in the newest set
>Sigma has Infinite Revenge, meaning he returns to your deck every time he dies
>If Revenge has activated 8 times in the same game, he gets a huge stat boost and bonus abilities
I love this shit.
BN/SF COLLECTION WHEN
AND LEGENDS
Even less than shoddy entries like 1 and 5?
Most of the praise I see for MM is usually just for X, specifically 1 and 4. Maybe a token nod to MM2, but it's generally considered outdated.
I wouldn't even call X1 the best X game.
for sure
They should make a new Battle Network.
