I kinda think it's E3 or never with this big Mario Anniversary event going on. Maybe we see Geno appear in a SMRPG remake, the next Paper Mario game, or whatever Alpha Dream's "final project" is.

this is a tough choice. what happens if I pick Geno? what happens if I pick "getting in Smash" ?
These are good predicts and I can't deny it's highly likely PM eats Geno's lunch.
I think Cinderace is the second most likely after Urshifu and I think TT's chances are a little overrated. I like Crash who is rates highly in JP polls. And for ARMS I think it's Springman with or without a Ribbon Echo.

yeah I know. Here's some niche scenarios.
1. Geno is actually in the next PM game as DLC or Nintendo just paid a fat licensing fee to SE
2. Someone is remaking SMRPG
3. SE is actually making a new SMRPG game; there is no new PM
4. something something fans.
The problem with Geno is no one can use the IP. But there is upside, it will generate a lot of conversation which has great short-term marketing potential. It can work but PM does cast a shadow over his chances.
