it's about the amount of force you can project within a certain amount of space. Doomguy is fucking powerful because he's basically unrivalled at moving really fast and getting to an objective whilst maintaining absolute superiority in terms of putting out firepower and damage within a certain amount of space. And that's what stopping the demons called for; not a full frontal fight as they were infinite, but one man who was able to cut through swathes of them at a time and shut them down before they knew what was going on

Considering how a single shot blew a hole into the core of mars I don't think that would be a very good idea.

Almost like dooms story has always been bad and is just an excuse to have you slaughter rooms full of demons thank fuck they kept it that way

Doomguy is powered up by Makyr tech. Humans tech is worthless by comparison.

I think the UAC just got overwelmed. Demons had more bodies than anyone could ever have more bullets. Which is why Doomguy prioritized the Priests above all else.

You just don't have the right perspective since you're always playing as doomguy.
Consider this; we're told the praetor armor is nearly indestructible, yet even imp fireballs can completely destroy it in a few hits. Hell's lowest ranked demon could easily solo a tank. The UAC may have access to great weapons, but a whole squad of plasma gunners would be nothing compared to their equal number of imps who will be easily one shotting them and probably causing the whole squad to break and flee in a panic.

If you read the dates the arc has been fighting hell for like 3 years. I think the dates were 2161 to the current time 2163.

Their forces are infinite and on top of that uac cultists sabatoged shit and made factories that augment and produce demons.

Not to mention, Hell's corrupting influence turned an enormous chunk of Earth's soldiers against humanity, hence the possessed soldiers and zombies.

Considering their lack of survivors, properly trained soldiers, and experience with dealing with demons in comparison to Doomguy's, It's a miracle the UAC still has any remaining employees left.

Doomguy has been doing this all his life. The UAC doesn't know how to handle the demon problem like he does. The UAC thinks the way to handle the problem is to kill all the demons. That's basically it. Doomguy kills all the demons, attacks the source of the problem, and closes the portal.

Exactly. Doomguy's new suit, The praetor suit, was forged in fucking Hell and is harder than diamond material. The UAC does not have that kind of shit to their advantage. Doomguy is not only more experienced, but he wears armor made SPECIFICALLY for fighting against demons.

There are probably holes being made right now.

Doomguy can take most shit the demons can through at him and out right maneuver them a single shot from soldier grunts would be like getting shot from a real gun to a normal human. Demons also take a lot of bullets to kill so pinkies and hell knights would just shred infantry. Now how this factors into air superiority is when shit gets stupid because cacodemons and elementals aren't that fast

The main problem with fighting hell is the sheer amount of numbers they have and the more you fight them the more of your side becomes demons which you have to fight and so on and so on. Not to mention they have shit like Titans to take out the big guns.
