If you're a trophy whore get the PS3 version, the game has bugs and certain trophies can glitch out. I got the Platinum for both PS3 and PS4. The PS4 version is straight up gorgeous, Bluepoint did such a great job on PS4.
What's the best way to play this game in 2020? The original version on a PS2, the remaster on PS3...

The remake on ps4 is fucking beautiful but some would argue it's "complete and utter dogshit you would hate it" because Wanderer's head doesn't track colossi when he's fighting them anymore.

I'm close to it. I even got the new sword in the Ps4 version and did all the time trials, but I just fucking HATE speedrunning and although I know I can do it, I really do not want to speedrun Shadow of the Colossus.
It's like the antithesis of the game. Same with why I don't have a platinum in Nier: Gestalt.

PS2 version has a really shit framerate that was low even for the time. PS4 version is soulless. Go for the remaster.
