Dude drumpf lmao.
And before you ask, no, I haven't played any Far Cry games since 3.

5 had no increasing difficulty either since you could access all regions at all times. 3 and 4 both had a halfway point where the enemies you faced got stronger, and had better equipment. Far Cry 5s difficulty is ALWAYS the same.
Wanted to get it cause its on sale but then I saw it had denuvo. Same with primal
Enemies are too weak, should take more hit to kill
My nigga.
>Exact same story mission structure for every zone. Clear outposts > get forced into story mission
>4 missions per zone, 2 have to be used for introduction and showdown so you only get 2 missions with the zone's bad guy
>Less polish than fucking FC3. No skinning animations, no incentive to hunt, NO WOUND-HEALING ANIMATIONS
>Guns-For-Hire was a decent mechanic but only 2/9 were allowed to be stealthy, so I just ended up using Peaches for the entire game
>The Father is compelling the few times you see him but fails as a villain because he disappears after the intro until the very end
>The Bliss completely undermines the Cult's intimidation factor because they're not actually a dangerously persuasive cult, they just mind-control people to do their bidding
>Enemies spawn instantly when alerted on the roads, making travel tedious
>Instant spawn free warplanes turns balance into a joke
>Jacob's story missions are so mind-numbingly boring I would be surprised if they weren't created entirely within a week
>Great soundtrack, to be fair
>Ending is supposedly hinted at in radio broadcasts I literally never heard
>Surprisingly interesting theories that the plot is literally supernaturally biblical called into question by Ubisoft's utter incompetence (for example, any questions of subtlety are ruined by Conquest's White Horse literally being a guy named Whitehorse)
>Shaggy dog ending might turn people off
>Like every Far Cry since 3, it's just 3 again, with no reason to play it over 3
>They even managed to have a non-protagonist when the plot would be massively improved by a main character a la Jason Brody
>Shittier stealth kills (no knife throw???)
>this post is so true it hurts
For me, it's Far Cry New Dawn
I really liked the Faith boss fight using the distorted amazing grace as the background.
I never touched a FC game since 3 and I think I'm glad you posted this when I was actually considering picking up 5.
Man, what the hell is ubisoft doing nowadays.
