i don't want "historical accuracy" from video games because people will always mess something up. what i want to see more is to just depict these historical people as humans, and that's what RDR2 did. all the civilians have unique clothing, they have schedules, they react to your presence and so forth. i just want to see a similar approach to the medieval setting.
Why is RDR2 combat so satisfying? what did Rockstar get right?
Pistols have been the nigger's choice since RDR
Real men use the LeMat, especially now that you can grapeshot a cunt who thinks he's going to go Native on you with an axe
Rockstar is 1 gen ahead of every other publisher
Shame T2 keeps pushing braindead casual shit into the games but I suppose it's the price you pay for unlimited budget
Looks like yet another 3rd person """"""""""game"""""""" with mushy movement, floaty animations and mind numbingly boring not-quicktime events for melee combat
You're a mentally ill console-owning subhuman that never experienced good shooting.
well, that's what current gen is capable of. also the melee combat doesn't have QTE's.
with the right settings the shooting feels a lot better than in many other games.
But it isn't
All you do is aim in, flick the right stick up a little bit then pull the trigger. The shooting feels good because of sound and smoke, and the sick walking animation

ok now this is epic
Powerful, brave, and feminine!

It basically is that, you just press the right buttons near an enemy, your character snaps into the canned animation and you just watch the fight play out.
