I've been loving my Steam Controller, but I've only really used it for FPSes, and a few 3D Platformers that would benefit from it.
If I'm not playing one of those, I'm using my Dualshock 4.

I bought one of those 8bitdo controllers, thought it would be too small and shit in general, but it's actually pretty good for 2D games, kinda iffy for FPS though

DS4 is great if you don't want to splurge on some autistic fighting stick and still be decent at Tekken 7.
For everything else X1 V1 controller no doubt, with the X360 controller falling slightly behind it.
