I pirated some older version, I wouldn't pay money for it. It's Banished with less houses and more spears, endgame pretty much starts throwing armies of spear throwing clones at you and it becomes more tedious than fun.

Tropico 4 is great but once you have a big city with lots of traffic the AI shits itself and there's no way to properly manage it, for example the people who live at one edge of the island will start working in a building that's on the opposite side of the island for no reason, taking the job from those who live right next to it, and driving all the way across the island creating more traffic and probably already being too hungry and tired to work before they even get there.

If it was further along, I'd get it. Most of the city builders I'm interested in are early access. Sucks having to wait for a game that might not get finished.

I don't even know where they could go from here to save this one. It's a nice concept absolutely atrociously delivered. Game collapses on you anyways, you can roleplay the bronze age collapse.

>your population boost comes from immigrants, not children
>immigrants grow old too, so they die in waves
>jews haven't invented birth rates yet
>all the boomers die
>lots of empty tents and huts
>instead of moving in with roommates to fuck, people can inhabit individual tents
>nobody makes children, everybody just NEETs it up in their fancy separate tents
>start ordering them to deconstruct houses
>nobody hunts or tills the fields with all the deconstruction going on
>housing crisis finally fixed
>raid arrives
>not enough people to defend village
>game over
>happens every game

There's a few clones out there but not as polished. Forest Village is quite literally a banished clone but with more building options.
