It does? You all said the same thing about smash 4. Ult is more 50/50s and follow ups than it is true combos. And it effects a lot. It means you cant juggle properly, makes tech chasing less common. What in the fuck do you even read what you're typing? You're like the same people who also say offline and online play are the exact same.
Edge cancels only exist on specials, and on certain specials only. Generally teleports.

Brawl has better combos than Ultimate as sad as that is though so I don't know what you're talking about

The game plays like shit and the roster has clearly been made by autistic white boys who cared more about faithfullness to the characters than bringing interesting mechanics and playstyles.
