All this despite the fact that the capital was firebombed into oblivion, the major manufacturing centres nuked off the map, being ranked the 29th country with ease of doing business, being ranked the least work productive nation of the entire G7 and receiving the least amount of foreign investment of any nation in the G20, Japan with very little foreign investment and working at a much less productive rate than the western world somehow still outpaces the entire west.
This tiny island nation with no resources isn’t even trying in comparison to the west.
If the war hadn’t occurred and Japan had been allowed to develop Manchukuo, Korea and Taiwan further Japan would today be the sole super power.
