Because the right wing has failed to produce a real intellectual/academic movement. This used to exist; if you go read guys like Darwin, Galileo, Ben Franklin....all these big Western Civilization guys, they were very conservative in their outlook and ideas. Of course the pinnacle of this would be the fascist movement.
The counterpoint to this has been the religious "retard conservative" movement. Basically these really stupid ignorant religious people who are easily controlled. Notice it was the retard-cons in the USA who signed up to fight the nazis. And today these people are getting completely and systematically steamrolled, and flailing around angrily trying to stop it. Instead of writing books on philosophy and science, they're banging their pulpits and making absurd statements about evolution.
As a result, the left basically has an easy victory. Because they have all the university educated people, they have a stranglehold on the culture. They have the wealth, so they make the rules.

They’ll never retire, have things they want, and are angry. They buy things they cannot afford and go further into debt. My house cost $120k. My car is $30k and paid off. I don’t need fancy shit to fit in, I have a fuck ton of cash. Americans have no idea how much that $500/month car payment sets them back as far as happiness only to brag about it on Facebook.
