I work as a code monkey. Every single thing I do is tracked, monitored, and measured. Do my managers have any technical background? lolno, they just come up with more bogus procedures to track our activity more.
I stayed up last Wednesday night to make sure I met a "Sprint target", who got the credit for it? My manager because his team hit the KPI target. Did he do any work? Did he supervise anything? No.
