all humans come from adam and eve. thus all humans have had knowledge of god and many have rejected him throught history. just like we are punished for the sins of our ancestors and are rewarded for their good deeds, so too are the people today.
when christ went to the land of the dead he took out those who deserved to come into heaven. and we don't know for a fact how god treats those who died with no knowledge of christ, but as paul says it is enscribed on their hearths, so if nothing else they can still be judged by that

well if you think so, fine, don't believe the book is 100% truth then.
the bible is just a tool of the church. it is not the end all be all authority. the athority lies with the people who were with jesus, and the churches they established. the teachings were spred by word of mouth before they were complited into ghospels, letters and so on. men are fallible, there are many bible versions today, some more fake than others, that doesn't mean the core of the message isn't true

There isn't any compelling evidence that prayer works. The evidence is equal to that of flat earthers claiming gravity doesn't exist because they have shown that denser fluids "seek the bottom" which "explains" away gravity.
Ok if you had made that exact argument 600 years ago, you'd be supporting Islam. If you make it in 200 years from now, you'll be supporting non-religion and/or Islam again.
Those holy books claim to be the end all be all of morality and a complete history of the world. If you go to a zoo and you don't see any dinosaurs, chances are they aren't claiming to teach history. The holy books of the Middle East claim exaxtly that and get it about as wrong as one would expect people to get it 2000 years ago.
