Being "disabled" means you're on Medicaid, which only covers 30 therapy sessions a year, which means the others come out of pocket, or a charity picks up the tab. My child has autism, the amount of paperwork required every week to get him the basics is absolutely insane. I don't get gibs for him because I make too much money, but my wife has harbored identical sentiments, saying she wish she aborted him. Common thing with women.

Termination should be mandatory if the foetus is diagnosed with Down syndrome or any other serious congenital disorder. Why should someone be allowed to bring into existence a genetically defective human that will never have any chance of having a good quality of life? It's selfish, immoral and dysgenic.

I have an autistic son. 13 now still non verbal. He is intelligent even though it's a struggle to work out what he knows. I love him to bits. Had I known he would be autistic during pregnancy of course I would have terminated and it pains me to say this.
Not because he's a burden, sure there are times it is a burden but he's opened up so many other doors. I studied psychology and brain biology, I looked after my kid rather than leave him to state schooling so seeing a child grow up and teach him right from wrong rather than liberal narcissism.
