Being "disabled" means you're on Medicaid, which only covers 30 therapy sessions a year, which means the others come out of pocket, or a charity picks up the tab. My child has autism, the amount of paperwork required every week to get him the basics is absolutely insane. I don't get gibs for him because I make too much money, but my wife has harbored identical sentiments, saying she wish she aborted him. Common thing with women.

Termination should be mandatory if the foetus is diagnosed with Down syndrome or any other serious congenital disorder. I have an autistic son. 13 now still non verbal. He is intelligent even though it's a struggle to work out what he knows. I love him to bits. Had I known he would be autistic during pregnancy of course I would have terminated and it pains me to say this.
