>The "white" term only entered other European languages after WW2
Yeah nah
Please Yas Forums, define "whiteness". Everyone here seems to argue about who is white and who isn't...
Tell me why lactose intelorance correlates with whiteness. Isn't this criterion only a pretext to say that germanic people only are white? You're probably using this map ONLY because it correlates with the original opinion that only germanic people are white. So we're back to our starting point, why should the germanic people be considered white? You can't say because of lactose intolerence, because it would be a circucal argument
> French
Ethnically North African Berber.
Franks -> Christians Foreign Faith, Romanized
Frisians & Saxons -> Germanic Polythist Native Faith, Germanic
>anyone who has white skin but nigger eyes is a halfbred white. meaning there 100% non white does this make sense now Ferdinand?
>whiteness
in SJW-terms, it means having an acceptable (for the majority) phenotype that is not too exotic so that you don't raise suspicion of being 'too different'
now, the jury is still out whether people can be intrinsically psychologically different because of their genetics. There is no conclusive evidence for or against this so everyone speculating that 'n&ggers are dumb by nature' is just speculating.
In more objective and mainstream terms, it means someone of acceptably fair complexion (it's subjective what is 'acceptable') and mostly Caucasoid (aka West Eurasian) skull shape
I say mostly, because some are hybrids like lots of Russians, Finns, Tatars and even some Nordic Germanics (think Bjork) have clear mongoloid element, but are still mostly caucasoid. Keanu Reeves is also 'white' despite having some mongoloid elements and not being 'white' for white supremacists
which brings us to the white supremacists, who usually define 'white' as northwestern european or broadly european. That definition would make your humble servant a proud sandnigger and a dune coon but luckily most people aren't white supremacists and have no idea I'm genetically not European so I can reap off all the benefits of 'white privilege' lol
why would this interest anyone?
Forget the map. Lactose tolerance = whiteness
You're white then
>why should we privilege the historical aspect of this term?
we dont have to but as you can see by this very thread that no one agrees on what it means hence I argue going back to its established meaning. Does "white" refer to skin color? Race? Purity? Historically all of those things combined with nationality and the protection against enslavement.
>should the modern "definition" be discarded just because it's only recent?
no ofc not but tell me what is the modern "definition" of white? No two people will agree on that outside the Anglo sphere.
>Are we forbidden to reuse this term in a different manner because of the past?
again no ofc not. But why would you? There are other more precise terms surely? Also ones that are not foreign and old.
Also French
