Here immunity quickly is the only sensible solution

In the U.S, we had hospitals that were empty. We even brought a ship to NY and it was not even used. We built a "hospital", which is also empty. That may be the case in the UK but the U.S govt severely overestimated the cases.

>. We were lied to about how deadly it was. Why? I dont know but it's over.

To see how you would react.
British people reacted like scared mice I am embarrassed to say.

>a third of europeans recovered last month and havent got reinfected so everyone will be protected forever.
its not that antibodies dont do shit, its that they might not last that long, which means there will never be "herd immunity".
other corona viruses dont induce long lived antibodies, so why would this one?

>Yes, everyone knows that, but the hospitals will be over crowded with the seriously ill
Not any more. We stopped using ventilators, it is the wrong strategy. We use remdesivir immediately and oxygen through the nose. We have a very high success rate with that. Only 5% of our ICU beds are occupied by corona patients... at 2k new cases per day.

So literally nothing changes.

You were either going to die or you won't die.
So just open up everything and get it over with.

>herd immunity basically means that anyone without an innate ability to fight off the infection dies.
Wrong.
70% gets infected, 95% of them healthy people, You still protect the elderly and sick.

The hospitalization rate goes up, but not by much because people below 60 without serious health issues don’t have to be hospitalized.

Once the general population hits herd immunity, the virus just goes away as the infection rate drops massively.

Now compare that to a country with just 5-10% immune people. You open the economy back up and the virus comes back in force.

Only if you ignore everything we know about how the immune system works.

The economic damage already is good enough, and I'm building up another memetic plague spell.

You don't understand I can fire off plague after plague in the name of God.

Right now I'm working on fire from the sky, I already summoned locusts.

That is if immunity happens.
We don't know what happens upon reinfection either.
The lab-monkeys resisting reinfection is promising though
