I know there is "The Greatest Story Never Told", but it's low quality and sucks his dick a little too much. Are there any other options?

Not about Hitler but more a snapshot of a German soldier and pilot during world War 2
it takes a wide selection of literature to get a better view of Germany and its people at the time, your friend probably won't read through bias historical records and most docos are one eyed so I'd recommend books that are page turners written by those who experienced it
