What would happen during a societal collapse where health care tanks completely? Tuberculosis(TB) is still here, still producing a million deaths a year(1.5 million people died from it in 2018). The results would be astro-fucking-nomical.
No one gives a shit about tuberculosis though.
Here's what TB was doing in the past(holy shit I can't even believe these fucking numbers). Our amazing healthcare system has "crushed" it right? Well, still 1 million to 1.5 million people dying every year from TB. Thanks to this "lockdown" at least fewer people will be affected by it.
How many people has the China virus killed so far on a daily average? 1067 people per day on average right now. TB, is way ahead of it and has already killed....well who the fuck knows since no one gives a shit about it right now thanks to the China virus, but in 2018 it was killing an average of 4110 people every day. Not the highest single day, but that many people EVERY day of the ENTIRE year. Remember, when the China virus reached the 4k mark of deaths every day? People freaked. Not so much freaking over TB though. None in fact.
Thankfully, more money is being spent on TB than ever before and it is hoped that there will be a 10% reducing of infections and deaths this year.
