If a third of patients are ethnic minorities then the vast majority are white? What are they chimping about it if there isn't actually a "disproportionate impact"?

can you think of a reason why averaging the number of deaths of an ongoing pandemic (something that grows exponentially) over nearly one-and-a-half months might be a bit stupid? bearing in mind that almost a thousand people are dying with it each day in the UK at the moment
