SO what's the best way to become a paid shill? I was thinking about the military, joining the Air Force or Army and get involved in psyops. I have a degree and background in psychology and education which I think would be helpful?

most astroturfing in the US is done on initiative campaigns, mostly signature gathering drives, which can be fairly lucrative. sometimes GOTV can be good. there is no real market for online shilling yet.

I spent 6 years in military intelligence. No one in the army does anything with shilling. Air Froce does the gay cyber shit. Be warned, the air force is probably the worst branch to join as far as military culture goes. I did time with a bunch of AF guys at MacDill and it was insufferable. The real bummer is something thats a bummer for me in life in general, I hate seeing people getting rewarded for doing a terrible job in any field and when it comes to the 'shilling' on here theyre dire.
I dont think theres ever been a shill on here I've come across thats ever been briefed properly about who theyre likely to come across on this board. Without exception they always underestimate the impact individual anons can have on a thread, even where they might have 200+ compliant replies it just takes one person to null all of it, psychologically theyve no idea the make-up of the people who are likely to use a board like this, yet theyre all getting paid and as we know from campaign budgets in the past, the umbrella companies above them are getting sums into the 7 figures.

I was burned post the Trump campaign (and Brexit before it) when it comes to politics so I've no idea what the state of shilling elsewhere is like in 2020 but the best way to use your experience here I would suggest is to target other platforms (for whoever you end up working for).

The whole campaign funding process in america is a giant money laundering scheme, same with charities and churches, you need to be in the loop to see any of it and to get there is pretty much impossible for an outsider given the level of trust required.
