Essential worker thread

Hotel user clerk here. Considered essential pursuant to the March 19th 2020 memorandum by Homeland Security. Just waiting for them to change my hotel into a makeshift hospital. 350 room property maybe doing 20 rooms a night. People are still traveling and not quarantining.

Same.
Essential.
20 hours/week since Corona.
Full time paycheck.
I'm just worried about people working minimum wage paid out by the hour.
My brother works in postal service.
The poor bastard.
I really hope to god that people with useless jobs get what's coming to them.

Fire department EMS.

Sure I am potentially getting exposed, but I was getting exposed to shit before hand. Only difference is I still get my salary and I am averaging 48 hours of OT a week at $70 an hour. So it's not horrible, especially with the whole half the country could be without a job.

I make medical components in a machine shop. Lick my essential nutsack.

>during this shit.
Which is what? An over glorified flu? I'm working from home, so not complaining, but this whole "pandemic" feels overblown as fuck

>tfw essential worker but also 6-figure wendy chef

It's anyone but bartenders and waitresses out of work right now?

Yeah, I don’t want to see legitimate workers go without. I don’t like to see Americans out of work and struggling.
