Once upon a time, there was a child who was in fact conspired against in school, but apparently it only happened once. That's the impression that people shattered facedown into service to abuse are trying to give by following after the one person who went through something real.
I was never in a gifted program. That's why I support them now. They're a potential balm to the primitives that my mere existence destroyed the autonomy of forever.

I was in GATE all throughout elementary school. I know because my parents would brag about it, and because I was reminded of it daily. But I literally have zero memory of any of it. I don't know what happened when I was in it. Another black hole in my memories.
