The reason I believe I remember it specifically is due to the point in my life that my family moved and I was taking these tests in one school, then had to do the 2nd part (or maybe all of it all over again?) in another school. Remember learning some strange code system and then having to do hearing test, reactionary tests (blindfolded and move hand to the wall to catch a falling ruler when you hear a tone). I came in 1st in the reaction test by far in my entire school. Even the teachers thought I was cheating until I did it several times in front of my home room teacher. Honestly, at the time it was semi disappointing that I was the fastest and that it didn't seem that difficult. That same year, I went on to take 1st place in a nationwide stock market game that kids under 18 were in. It was like I could accurately predict everything in the universe around me until I hit the full momentum of puberty. Then all those intuitions fell away to thoughts of procreation.

I was GATE tested in 89 and 90 (2nd and 3rd grade) and they tested me multiple times (2-3 times each year).
Shortly before this, my mom had my IQ tested because they thought I was a little retarded, and the school suggest an IEP but she refused (“just let him struggle”). Anyway, shortly after my retardation test, the GATE cia niggers started showing up, and I assumed it was all part of the same IQ test. But when I brought it up to my mom, she never had any clue that I was being tested further.
As far as I know, after their series of tests, they just stopped showing up and nothing ever came of it.
I vaguely remember the tests, but they were not like other IQ tests (I took another IQ test from a psychiatrist when I was 15, and passed the Mensa test at 17). The closest thing was the Mensa test, with the weird pattern games, but the Mensa test didn’t have headphones and psychic guessing games.

These tests are pretty strange looking back... I kinda forget about them until I started writing a book some time ago. Asked my mom about it and she said that she remembers me talking about these tests when in elementary and middle school. Literally felt like I lost a 6th sense once I hit full on puberty at the age of 12/13.
