Does anyone have any tips on how to abandon the incel ideology?
It's ruining my life. I view women as being less than men and I find women who choose to work rather than have children as being pathetic. I can't take women scientists or politician's seriously and I think normal young women who wear skimpy clothing and go out drinking are disgusting. I think women are too emotional and generally obnoxious. I don't think women are funny. In general, I don't like being around women and only believe they should be homemakers and bear children for men.
How do I escape this belief system? It's not healthy and I can't fit in with modern society like this. It's taking a toll on my mental health by not being able to relate with the opinions of normal productive members of society. When I see successful people and politicians who don't think like I do it makes me feel really shitty. I can't stand it anymore. I want to stop having this old fashioned view of women. It's isolating me from society further and further every year as women are becoming more and more prevalent in positions of power.

It's not an ideology, it's an illusion and a crutch that keeps you from actually putting in the long-term, steady work that is required in order for you to achieve the things that you want out of life (material possessions and interpersonal relationships). However, if you truly invest your energy in making slow, incremental changes to your habits, productivity/output (in regards to work, education, hobbies and socialization) and physical fitness, you will find yourself in a completely new and vastly improved situation in 6-8 months time. To clarify/expand upon my previous post: Your "incel" mentality is not a result of your lack of sex or experience with women, nor by the meme reasoning that women and society at large are somehow corrupted. If you focus on improving yourself in a variety of ways (which you should easily be able to, no-one is without faults or room for improvement), then you will quickly see that 1) women show you more attention, 2) peers will respect and cherish you, and 3) society will seem less and less obnoxious, corrupted and unfair, as the "rules of the game" become clearer and more beneficial to you as you keep advancing and building the skills that are required for living a fulfilling life.
