Resistance is futile
There's something else to it more than a little mysterious I don't think anyone really understands yet because ego inherently won't
let us. Imagine we already have something like a biological AI chip in our brains responsible for ensuring our survival and procreation. And its
already far, far smarter than we are consciously. To the point we can't even understand the Machiavellian schemes it uses to trick us into
doing whats best for us. It has no ego, or biases. It knows how to perfectly fit you into society after enough time to analyze it.
All the self destructive, stupid and nonsensical behaviors we display. These are all completely intentional. Even level of intelligence is regulated
by it to ensure you fit in with the sub-100 IQ lemmings around you, maximizing your chances of survival among them. It may even try to trigger your self termination when your genes degrade too much.
It may even want us to get a brain chip, to enhance its own capability to do this. Then it won't need an ego or consciousness at all anymore. It'll be free of us and our delusions.
