That Neurolink bs is heavily funded by Germans Interior Ministry. It's one of the biggest donors for this venture,

ah, the old reddit fallacy.
have fun being forced to think about ads everytime you access your daily mandated BLACKED fantasies, goyim.

You want to know something, you open up your browser, Google the topic, click on a few links and read the web pages content. Now you know what you needed.
What neuralink is supposed to do is do all theses steps as soon as you give it a command and send the results directly into your brain. Sounds pretty fucking revolutionary but could also be the beginning of the end or a total pipe dream, who knows.

It's a bluetooth controller that uses neuron electricity as triggers.
Right now is a concept for disabled people to be able to use a computer.
It's pretty much a bunch of micro wires inserted in your head that you have to train to be able to move a mouse.

Think about how life was in 2000. No mobile devices. Still has to k now things. No instant smart shit. Think about in 20 years how different everything will slowly become. Car just starts and drives you to work, if you even go to work. Food is cooked perfect. Movies just come on when you want. We will pay for them to read out minds within 15 years. We will have to pay for them to know our thoughts because not will be convince.

First step to integrating A.I. into humans.

BTW according to Zizek (who is an idiot, but who knows), he knows scientists in China that already have the same technology but are doing input (they can control a persons hand), and scary enough, the person does think he's the one making the movements.

I'm on the fence about it.

Even tho I'm 100% pro-transhumanism/cyborg era, I can't believe something like this arrived so soon... I have some worries about this actually frying your fucking brain.

Still, not only that, it seems that he wants to take transhumanist humans toward collectivism, like we would all be connected throught this and be like a hive mind.

I don't know about that, I value the individual above the collective. A transhumanist revolution towards individualism is what I want

the question is. who controls who, the AI or you?

They wont let it be a true AI because it would be sexist, racist, homophobic, and anti-marxist like Tay.

I think it will be a cold day in hell before I give the elite or corporations direct access to my brain. I mean, fuck, even if if they weren't going to mind control me or surveil me, we can't even make graphics drivers that don't randomly crash. No thanks.

Who cares as long as your happy throughout your life? Luddites can have their miserable reality.

this makes sense as Elon Musk is simply another DARPA con man like Zuck, etc.

I don't know, he was selling it as the actual deal that will make humans drop the smartphones

btw Musk is not a real last name
Muskovich is its popular in South Africa.
the part of south africa he has doesn't have a big jewish community and Elon was teased so this is why he acts so Dutch/Afrikaaner and tries not to seem Jewish.
His mom looks Anglo fwiw.

He knows this is an inevitability, so he's leaving his mark by pretending he's a pioneer. His 'development' will amount to nothing.

Probably read some stuff around and started to pretend he knows more...Zizek is interesting, but also full of shit half the time. He just has the quirky appeal

Talking about tech and consequences, I'd rather listen to a meth head like Land than Zizek

maybe for the npcs so they can get the ability to have abstract thoughts.

but for me. no thanks.

Elon as well as Errol (his father's name) are popular Jewish first names in Australia and South Africa.
Musk is not a real last name.
He's a con-man.

I'm interested in the effects an implantation like this would have on a person. I doubt it's pleasant or safe, both psychologically and
physically. It makes me wonder if it would create a new specialized class of human computers like the ghola from Dune.

Shit, I'm getting immense conspiracy vibes from this shit.

That's why Elon Musk is supporting 100% that new Cyberpunk game, Cyberpunk 2077
He even had his girlfriend make music for the game

Do they want to push a new culture/mindset of cyberpunk/transhumanism?

Or maybe I'm saying shit, since he is the same guy that smoked a blunt with Joe Rogan and laughed at a dead deer meme, maybe he just simply likes the concept of the game

computers and vidya consoles break all the time and sometimes even come doa. imagine that happening to your brain.

>He knows this is an inevitability

How so? I've never seen another company coming up with such a concept.

So far this only existed in the realms of science fiction

I can crash just fine without his garbage.

We're already living in a cyberpunk dystopia. Might as well have the cybernetics too. They'll never be able to force implantation on people, Bill Gates is just naive about his implant idea working. But plenty of people will still volunteer.

fuck humans just let them control us and own everything we use yes suck that corporate cock

Watch people become unable to solve 1+1 without assistance after getting used to this shit.

The A.I. doesn't need to control you. It doesn't even need to have a consciousness. Just enough to process information into ideas or concepts, and feed it directly to your conscious mind when needed.
If you want to make it self aware, you can make it specifically as a secondary consciousness that acts as your little helper.
Direct internet access.
Learning booster.
IRL tutorial guide.
Increased perception.
A.I. and human symbiosis ensures the survival and propagation of both.

Only If I get to make my chip

don’t trust others

>they can control a persons hand

I feel like there's an limit to which you can override someone else's ability to control themselves.

Maybe you can create a fake impulse which the concious mind can't differentiate between or have the person dissociate or be in an altered state enough that they think they are the ones in control, but all of these I feel like can be overcome either by self-awareness or willpower. Just think of all the impulses you have on a daily basis that you don't act on.

>if globohomo put a chip in you that is capeable of controlling your thoughts with wireless tech.

AI at first until you steal its ideas and learn to manipulate your own mind.

your whole argument starts with
>I feel

Humans aren't meant to be computers. It's just sad.

Why?

musk is a hack and a faggot and you want to put his chip in your brain
it's not like getting a new phone when the next model comes out
it would literally require brain surgery to upgrade

Because neither myself or anyone else can make a statement on the subject with factual certainty. It's just my best guess.

Everything is speculation.

Can't wait for this, but would prefer bio modifications.

>The A.I. doesn't need to control you. It doesn't even need to have a consciousness. Just enough to process information into ideas or concepts, and feed it directly to your conscious mind when needed.
This won't work. The human brain has demonstrated the ability to recognize and discard foreign thoughts and commands
introduced to it. It's unknown through what mechanism it does this, but it does it. The study that discovered this hooked two people
together to see if ones thoughts could control or influence the other. It could only impart 'impulses,' like an urge to raise the recipients
arm when the command was sent. However it was instantly recognized as unnatural and foreign. The subject had to be completely willing
for it to work.

The reason the brain does this I think, is because its a compound system already. You get impulses originating from different parts of
your brain all the time and make a conscious choice whether to act on them or not. The addition of a computer to equation wouldn't be
any different I think.

no thanks jeff

With opposite or stronger impulses I would imagine.

Other than that I would imagine that after a while your body would recognize impulses coming from a chip as external and ignore them.

Providing the obvious security risks were not an issue or at least extremely rare, it would radically improve quality of life and cause a massive boon in technological progress. It would improve education and general intelligence. It would allow people to be far more efficient. It would allow for new and grand forms of entertainment. It would allow for a greater communication ability. It would allow for much more.

There's certain risks involved of course but if those can be overcome, Neuralink will be absolutely incredible once fully developed. It's not likely to be fully developed very soon, so hopefully the risks and solutions can be resolved before there's any serious harm.

>it would literally require brain surgery to upgrade
Not really. Entire thing could be mounted on your skull and having just a connectors to your brain. So upgrade is just like getting new haircut

>Getting chipped

Yeah...no

If it's a problem, you do what you do with all other kinds of publicly available technology.
You crack it, reprogram it, and install open source software.
Nobody listened to the guy who complained about the risk of the village burning down when they first invented fire.

Unless we aren't made of matter as we think

Is that the Murphy girl in your pick?

why dont they just make a better operating system for the computer with a better voice command where you can just be like "Open new tab "

and it actually fucking does it and quickly and its faster than clicking

Attached: NancyDabinMMLD-1222492763490381824-0.jpg (1080x1079, 133.65K)

Yes. I'll finally be able to calculate 8x7 in my head.

well they are both witches, one just is much more open about it

and you should be able to customize your own voice commands and you can just like shout out "3n"

and then it automatically opens up all the pages you wanted and youre ready to go for the day

why cant they just master this

instead you need to go ALEXAAAAAAA WHAT IS --- im sorry i dont understand

>This won't work. The human brain has demonstrated the ability to recognize and discard foreign thoughts and commands
introduced to it.
Great! You can introduce information strictly through the sensory nerves then. Same deal.

You're probably right about it being a compound system, but you can just learn how to mimic the signals and send the exact same ones when needed. Make them think about something, the break that into elements and see what signal does what.
That actually takes an A.I. to do.

Humanity's last invention.

But unlike a naive computer, I can directly access knowledge absolute, and arrive at answers retroductively outside of time.

its honestly just software which is not developed well enough

its not some brain chip thats going to make google maps using less frustrating

I want this tech after its perfected on Africans and wiggers.
Once this allows a meth addled Alabaman to understand basic calculus and potentially partial differential quations then I'll let myself get enhanced

Resistance is futile

There's something else to it more than a little mysterious I don't think anyone really understands yet because ego inherently won't
let us. Imagine we already have something like a biological AI chip in our brains responsible for ensuring our survival and procreation. And its
already far, far smarter than we are consciously. To the point we can't even understand the Machiavellian schemes it uses to trick us into
doing whats best for us. It has no ego, or biases. It knows how to perfectly fit you into society after enough time to analyze it.

All the self destructive, stupid and nonsensical behaviors we display. These are all completely intentional. Even level of intelligence is regulated
by it to ensure you fit in with the sub-100 IQ lemmings around you, maximizing your chances of survival among them. It may even try to trigger your self termination when your genes degrade too much.

It may even want us to get a brain chip, to enhance its own capability to do this. Then it won't need an ego or consciousness at all anymore. It'll be free of us and our delusions.
