Why do the experts disagree with each other?

They just didn't want people hoarding them and creating a shortage. Of course covering your mouth and nose with a mask is better than having them exposed, it's common fucking sense. There was a press conference today in NZ with the Director General of Health and he was asked if it was better to wear a mask or not. He said some bullshit about how it can be unsafe because "people touch their face more with a mask" and "it gives a false sense of security and people are more reckless" and then said, and I fucking shit you not, that they were waiting to hear the WHO advise them on whether it was good practice for the general public to wear a mask or not.

tl;dr the experts didnt want to create a shortage so they lied to you. now things are getting out of control and people with common sense are wondering why they told us all not to wear masks and now they are bullshitting and trying to save face

there is no empirical data on this. so basically you can have whatever opinion you like on the matter.

in a few years you could compare data of countries that had widespread mask usage and countries that didnt. then we will know for sure.

you transmit the virus via drops of water that you cough and sneeze and speak out. if they land in a mask instead of the face of the person 1m next to you, youve prevented a transmission right there.

so i cant see how masks should not decrease the risk of transmission.

He should be fired.

"It makes little difference if you’re just walking around town or taking a bus while wearing a face mask. People who wear masks are more likely to touch their face and increase their risk of contracting the virus" , US Surgeon-General Jerome M Adams said.

30 minutes in an oven and they're as good as new

what does filtration mean? what is getting filtrated?

95 microns

Why don't the experts have a unified message? How many times will they change their story before the public stops taking them seriously.
