Extra-terrestrial politics are a thing. Some of the wars on Earth have been ET-sponsored proxy wars, much like our own proxy wars. Let's get real for a minute, here. COVID-19 has killed only 7000 people in five months. 46 per day. The Flu kills 1800 a day. You don't see huge quarantines, the Dow Jones dropping 10k points, international flights being canceled, and all shipments of goods being halted over Flu, do you?

Maybe a radical reform of wealth and purchasing power should be in the works when it comes to full blown automation. Do away with the boomer mentality of statuses and hoarding. This sounds like communism but I'm offering something different. Instead of money, we go back to trade or labor exchange. AI doesn't exist.
What we have is just supercomputers with advanced capabilities of pattern recognition. A very efficient noise cleaner based on ever expanding data collection, but nothing at all intelligent.
A very powerful tool, with no discernment, with critical flaws and either dangerous or beneficial, depending on the hands it's in.
