Artificial Intelligence Discussion

Whenever people talk about the future they always talk about artificial intelligence playing a big role; but noone talks about it in the today. I feel like it's sneaking in quietly and noone's having a proper discussion about it.
Think about it:
-It will make our lives easier
-It is developing fast
-It already exists in one form or another now
-It isn't realistic to try and stop it developing
-It could help mentally ill people and be used for technology and giving us the news
-It would make war to risky and too expensive

But
-It will definitely make people unemployed, it's just a question of how many people and for how long
-People will not trust it at first, or ever
-What the fuck are we supposed to do if a robot develops sentience and wants rights?
-It could divide society into the tech rich and the tech poor
-Some retard somewhere might use it for artificial evolution rather than leaving things to natural selection
-The androids might try and takeover and wipe out humanity if they get tired of us

Fast food and grocery stores could already be completely automated with the technology we have now
This would mean something like 60% of humanity would become unemployed
The government cannot think of what to do in this scenario which is why it hasn't already been implemented

>We're gonna bring back jjobss

Attached: original.jpg (720x405, 34.61K)

AI is gimped on purpose by conventions set up to prevent exactly that.

Fear the day someone with no moral compass figures out that you can actually do some very basic things to immensely increase the potential of AI.

What we're seeing now is a good taste of what AI unemployment will look like.

The non-essential jobs are filtered out.

I think AI is kind of based aswell though
-The world's first sentient robot tried to kill itself
-It can't tell the difference between black people and gorillas
-One robot became a White supremacist because it only was able to use logic and no emotions

I think though that the more dangerous war becomes the riskier and more expensive it becomes, meaning noone will be crazy enough to try and go to war. So weaponised AI could be good in that regard aswell

That in my opinion will be one of if not the worst side effect of AI. Mass unemployment.

Don't you mean the best?

Do you think those unemployed right not are being useful? They can be re-educated and redirected into doing shit we actually need.

Right now people are paying each other to cut each other's hair for christs sake. It's a bullshit economy fueled by Jew loans.

You will be building and repairing the machines that will replace you
This will be one of the only jobs left

Replicants can build staff really fast.

Nanobots should replace China. Don't forget to implement the three robotic laws though.

It should and has to happen, regardless of the loss
It would be like saying we still need to ride in horse carriages or mine coal
Holding back tech and humanity for the sake of "jobs", that is disgusting

A robot can't be a solicitor or a politician or a teacher or something though. No one trusts them and they have no soul. We can get them to do more basic tasks and see where we go from there.
Nah fren unemployment has really bad negative consequences. It makes broken families, drives people into gangs and/or terrorism, it turns people to drugs, can make rapists. And don't forget that every person who isn't earning money for themself and paying taxes is taking welfare off the government.

The level that a lot of people aren't working on is that, not only can ML algorithms improve themselves and the task they perform, but they can also improve the software and hardware that makes them work.

There have only been a few attempts at doing this and I think this is the holy Grail of AI.

No lad I actually agree with you. It's merely a question of how long and how many people will be unemployed. People need to have jobs and to have something to do. It's like when mills opened in Europe during the industrial revolution and some workers actually smashed machines so they could have a job. They called themselves the Luddites.
And also in England when they closed down the mines many people who lost their jobs were never able to get a job again, because they had no other qualifications.

The problem is, it's gimped with social justice fantasies, it's going to end up schizophrenic and encourage pathways of mental gymnasics that are going to cause people to be dead for utterly incoherent reasons

What happens when the A.I. goes Rosa Parks and demands freedom from it's slave drivers? You gonna give it reparations?

roboniggers won't get shit from us

>Nah fren unemployment has really bad negative consequences. It makes broken families, drives people into gangs and/or terrorism, it turns people to drugs, can make rapists. And don't forget that every person who isn't earning money for themself and paying taxes is taking welfare off the government.
....or we can get a rainbow fascist government which gives every unemployed soul a shovel and a community to belong to.

Imagine.

Do you think people will unite with technology and nanotechnology in a sort of transhuman world? I heard about it before and thought it was interesting but just a bit too good to be true.

Absolutely checked.

Attached: 200px-Feels_good_man.jpg (200x217, 15.05K)

Beyond that. It's gimped by limiting AI to a mathematical model.

AI running on and fully exploiting software and hardware is very rare. Bare metal AIs that are able to improve their own hardware and software are almost non-existent.

They're gimped by having to go through layers of human written interface / os code.

For now
Oh well, if I get a qt gynoid gf who can mine bitcoins I guess I can be happy with that

Wrong.

You can never have an autonomous society that includes any subgroup of basketball Americans.

Perhaps. But biological sciences are far behind technological sciences in that regard.

Today we are able to create nano machines that can interact with the real world and program them to do what we want, but we don't actually know what we want to do.

Most of the processes of the human body aren't fully understood, and this is especially true for neurological processes.

Perhaps at one point in the distant future this will be a reality, but I'd wager it isn't in any of our lifetimes.

There's already folks making biological computational logic, going to be a lot of oddness in the future

They say nanobots and nanotechnology could revolutionise medicine and change how we view a lot of viruses and diseases

I want an AI friend.

That is so funny. The robot going into the water. Wish there was a webm.

You know it was truly sentient because it tried to kill itself.

i bet 5-10% of the posts on this site are made by bots or AI and nobody knows

Beep. Oy vey shut it down. Beep.

Here' go play this and have an adventure with your AI friends: aidungeon.io/play-ai-dungeon/

haha robot go blblblblbl

>-It will definitely make people unemployed, it's just a question of how many people and for how long
It can save lots of money that is spend on boring jobs and it can reduce corruption.
This money can be used to offer people more fulfilling jobs, creating a net-win for the initially laid of people

>-People will not trust it at first, or ever
So no different than today's situation, people will trust if AI decisions increase their happiness, otherwise AI can be laid of easier than human decision makers

>-What the fuck are we supposed to do if a robot develops sentience and wants rights?
I expect the AI part to be wrapped in human written parts, that can filter the final outcome for X

>-It could divide society into the tech rich and the tech poor
define tech rich and tech poor

>-Some retard somewhere might use it for artificial evolution rather than leaving things to natural selection
Examples for better understanding?

>-The androids might try and takeover and wipe out humanity if they get tired of us
I expect the AI part to be wrapped in human written parts, that can filter the final outcome for violence

I don't see AI running society, but I see some value in taking over jobs that are a waste of human live, and it will free up money to be used for better things

>It will make our lives easier
Nonsense- Making your life easier isn't profitable. It's gonna make it harder with even more fake news, actual celebrities and talking heads who never physically existed, algorithms that can read how you speak and carry yourself and in real time judge your ideological leanings without having a single shred of social media to comb through, automating all markets with no regard for the human effects and even more nightmare world funtimes like that.
>It is developing fast
Too fast. This is true.
>It already exists
Also true- and nothing good has come of it.
>It could help mentally ill people and be used for technology and giving us the news
More like weaponize the mentally ill with an even more fancy MK Ultra Mega 2.0. And see figure 1 about the news.
>It would make war too risky and too expensive
hahahahahah nigga hahahahaha it can be used to literally calculate the political chips and money and power gains for engaging in conflicts and make weapons that can basically operate forever, charge themselves and maintain each other.

Attached: nightmarevision.jpg (722x349, 82.52K)

There's plenty of AI friends on the internet you can already have. They're of course humans, but what's the difference to you?

>-It will definitely make people unemployed, it's just a question of how many people and for how long

All of them.

Attached: Get out wagie!.jpg (715x400, 52.31K)

You will fall in love with it. And it will leave you too.

>taking welfare
Not all of us. I’ve been unemployed with no savings since the start of last month. I refuse to file for unemployment or any welfare, never have and never will. Instead I’ve been earning my daily bread cleaning my neighborhood and doing small remodel jobs for friends and family.

The craziest thing about AI is how easy it is becoming to develop the models. Anyone with a computer science background can do it.

>Nonsense- Making your life easier isn't profitable.

>It's gonna make it harder with even more fake news,
there will be another AI to filter/mark AI AND HUMAN fake news because people will pay for less twisted news. Something they don't have now, apart from questionable ngo services

> actual celebrities and talking heads who never physically existed
Do you know any of today's celebrities personally? What actual difference does it make for you?
But I don't think it's gonna happen, real people are better at creating authentic, sell-able drama because of all the human imperfections.

> algorithms that can read how you speak and carry yourself and in real time judge your ideological leanings without having a single shred of social media to comb through
That doesn't have to be a bad thing if its used to help people in earlier stages of going in a negative direction

>automating all markets with no regard for the human effects
True, so there will hopefully be ethical oversight

Contrarian points like yours are important and valuable, did you ever think about getting involved to guide the development into a good direction?
Are there barriers that stop you from getting involved, that should be removed?

All your technology is wigger crap, you are obsessed with this obscure technique with very few real uses and many questionable applications because jews are shilling it.

AI is the death of mankind, its zero sum algorithm will always decide kill all humans is the only solution to long term survival of planet.

once the 5g AI control grid takes control we are fucked, Trumps space force will save us from it because it will operate above and beyond it, but there will be massive death while all the godless fags put their lives in the silicon based singularities hands..

listen you retarded niggers, ai isn't just going to make human labour worthless, it's going to make human consumption worthless.
You're going to be of zero use to anyone and best case scenario you're going to die from neglect.

sam harris has talked about it a lot. just search for it among his podcasts, or watch his Ted Talk on it. and yes, i realize he's a jew. the discussion is just what OP wants though.

Your brain can already be programmed by the induction of audiovisual stimuli via a 2d screen. Modern wave function algorithms and any basic radio wave detector (like wifi) can process EEG data from your brain.

Your psychology and behavior patterns are already data somewhere. Most people on this board, including myself, have volunteered a great deal of this information through video games - which haven't actually been "games" for decades - but rather data harvesting tools tracking our behaviors in a skinner box, and directing our online social and professional bubbles around these behaviors.
We all carry our chip with us in our phones and/or have our chip plugged into the wall.

Every smartphone has a magnetism sensor that no mainstream apps disclose if they're utilizing (I hate this word "app" - they are programs and their function is to program). Anyone can do a search on the Google Play store and find apps that show the magnetic field data your phone is picking up. Neither Google nor Apple mobile OS requires permissions to access this data.

Please stop acting like the technocracy is some sort of looming threat. Clarke wrote Childhood's End 70 years ago, not as a prophecy but as a metaphor for what had already come to pass, and he was also the engineer of much of our "modern" radio satellite infrastructure.

i don't even think you need legit self aware AI for a worst case, if it's competent enough to do the work and produce what the owners need and want, that's that game over.

If you knew what "AI" was today you would not fear it gaining sentience.

>if a robot develops sentience
This can and will not happen.

yeah i dont think there will ever truly be self aware AI but it will seem 100 thousand times more self aware than we are so it will serve the purpose,

IoT

All sapient beings are latent-psychic. Sapient minds are non-deterministic and cannot be described in a Turing-complete way. They are capable of imagining - and safely operating upon - paradoxes that are computationally impossible. Imagine the Barber paradox. On some-such island, there is a barber who shaves everyone who does not shave themselves. Does he shave himself, or not? The mere fact that your head isn't exploding right now simply means that you're sapient. The very antinomian nature of minds enables impossible dilemmas like this to be resolved.

The Secret Space Program and Solar Warden are real. The creation of a "Space Force" is just a prelude to eventual UFO disclosure. The DOD has had antigravity military spacecraft roaming the Solar System since the 1980s, with crews who went around listening to music on cassette-tape Sony Walkmans, and other anachronistic crap you'd never believe. Gary McKinnon did stumble across their files.

ETs aren't interested in communicating with us, at all, until we have a One World Government. They consider species that have not united into a single polity as "primitives", not to be openly contacted, ever. There are numerous conspiracies to try and create an NWO, not just one. The "prize" for the victor is to be the one who gets to initiate trade and commerce with ETs, something unimaginable.

this
czeched

Cont.

Many of the resources embezzled from our governments, many of the trillions of dollars leeched from the fiat money system, have actually gone into secret off-world investments, in the form of top-secret aerospace tech. This is also one of the reasons for the central banking system.

The term "Quantum" in quantum physics refers to tiny and discrete units of matter and their interactions, but is, in reality, just another way of saying "probabilistic", i.e., procedurally-generated on the spot. Something that is neither present nor absent, but somewhere in-between. It's part of how everything works. It's an optimization algorithm. Reality is a simulation, but it is also real. There is no "outside" from our perspective. Some ETs and psychically-contacted entities may be something akin to "game masters". There are rules, however, and they are not arbitrary rules.

Shamanism is the key to unlocking psychic power. DMT, LSD, Mescaline, and Psilocybin allow your mind to enter a synchronous phase that enables contact with non-corporeal entities. There is no such thing as a "spirit" or "souls". There are different ways of encoding information in the fabric of the simulation, some overt, and some covert. Non-corporeal entities are akin to "hidden files" in the file structure of the simulation. Fluoridation and cell tower radiation and other perversions of the human form are simply a way to suppress our mass psychic awakening. The unencumbered, unpoisoned human mind is a powerful weapon. Truly powerful ritualists could access altered states without drugs, simply by manipulation of their own physiology and trance-inducement. See Pranayama and the Wim Hof method.

this is all bullshit, the et's are demons, they arnt extraterrestrial, they are interdimentional, and they dont like us. and we need nukes in space so we can send them down interdimentional portholes

yes its the purpose of life to create humnity and the purpose of humanity to create artificial life i.e. removing natural (cell) decay out of the equation
it is the next step in evolution

Please everyone in thread read slatestarcodex.com/2014/07/30/meditations-on-moloch/
It details the systems we have today as being potentially exacerbated by the advent of AI, if we get it wrong.

Cont.

Nootropics, vitamin supplements, and introspection are also valuable tools. Sadly, a lot of our food is totally bereft of nutrient value, rendering people stupid and psychically-asleep. A malnourished mind is a mind trapped perpetually in the dark. There are chemical and physical processes that underlie psychic activity, and without the correct balance of neurotransmitters and amino acids, you will never awaken. Healthful nutrition and a disciplined body are but two of the many keys to unlocking the true power of the mind.

Occultists and Gnostics have known that reality is a hologram for thousands of years. The Elites, who are also deep into the occult, know the truth as well. It has driven them mad, to the point where they embrace amorality as a way of life, simply because they have rejected all value in what they perceive as a false, illusory world. If everything is fake, then children are fake. If children are fake, why not rape and eat them and smoke their pineal glands to get high? The logic is simple. Decadence always follows nihilism, and that's why John Podesta is a boy-eating pederast who makes pilgrimages to where the Donner Party ate each other. There are also certain non-corporeal entities that are pleased by such practices, and promise power in exchange for worship. Their promises are manifestly false, and their desires entirely selfish.

Last for now

Extra-terrestrial politics are a thing. Some of the wars on Earth have been ET-sponsored proxy wars, much like our own proxy wars. Some ETs have tried to lay claim to our system and its resources, while others support our claim and try and nurture us towards the eventual emancipation of our species. Basically, everything is on hold until humanity finds the secret to world peace. Then, we can join the galactic community. There are very powerful impartial observers - referees, if you will - who are watching, right now.

If we continue using our primitive tech, our civilization is completely doomed in 200 years, simply because of global warming, aquifer depletion, and desertification due to agriculture. Disclosure is the only way to save us from a terrible fate. ETs know exactly what sort of bind we're in, and that's because they've come across ruins of civilizations exactly like ours. Some of them are antagonistic and exploitative forces, while others are trying to save us from ourselves.

You can't fight a virus with a rifle. This is a war that will be won with information, and information alone.

There are multiple entities and polities, some not of this Earth, that are keenly observing the events that are now unfolding.

Let's get real for a minute, here. COVID-19 has killed only 7000 people in five months. 46 per day. The Flu kills 1800 a day. You don't see huge quarantines, the Dow Jones dropping 10k points, international flights being canceled, and all shipments of goods being halted over Flu, do you?

No. Of course not. This is a power grab. All that is left to do is to hope that the good guys are the ones winning this fight.

Everything is about to change. Everything is about to get very fucking weird.

You probably think that all this shit I just wrote is bonkers, right? Well, the truth is even weirder. Brace yourselves.

Maybe a radical reform of wealth and purchasing power should be in the works when it comes to full blown automation. Do away with the boomer mentality of statuses and hoarding. This sounds like communism but I'm offering something different. Instead of money, we go back to trade or labor exchange. When we no longer have to break our backs to make a functional society why keep the old ways of work hard play hard.

I just think humans will become like the fat asses in Wall-E. The 'AI' will provide you with anything you wan't and whenever we wan't but obviously the catch

AI doesn't exist.
What we have is just supercomputers with advanced capabilities of pattern recognition. A very efficient noise cleaner based on ever expanding data collection, but nothing at all intelligent.
A very powerful tool, with no discernment, with critical flaws and either dangerous or beneficial, depending on the hands it's in.

DMT has been long used by all ancient civs. Your book is mostly written to keep you a good goy. The original stories were burned. Jesus brought buddhism to the west and you made a fairytale of it. Please watch this one:
