Our ancestors were tested time and again, and they did not fail. So, shall we fail, in our people's time of great need? This should not be a question worth asking; we must not fail, we cannot fail and so we will not fail.
It is not up to us to squander what was hard won by our forefathers, through blood and steel. We should seek to emulate those great figures of old in their glory. This means we should not succumb to the lowly temptations of the world, but rise above them to reach for the transcendent; faith, family and fatherland, and all the qualities that come with them.
We should not live for now and for ourselves, but for the past and the future and the divine.
Self-improvement can be to reach physical goals, such as being strong or knowledgeable, attracting a partner or not having to worry about money, and these are all valid reasons to work on yourself. However, self-improvement has a metaphysical aspect too, and this is arguably the most important reason to improve oneself; all else is a useful side effect of striving for the divine. It is the struggle for self-mastery, to break the earthly bonds of primitive urges and to ascend to true manhood that is the primary aim. Seek to have the qualities that you desire to see in society: a society whose aim is material wealth is ill and cannot sustain for long, whereas one which focuses on that which transcends the material is healthy and will weather whatever comes its way, and the material benefits which may come from it are pleasant but secondary, just as with personal self-improvement. Aim not just to move to the top of the material, but to rise above it.

Unless you're really Yas Forums, body weight exercises are a good starting point.

Apparently we're supposed to be ashamed of our ancestor's success. If it wasn't for our ancestors, Africans would have developed Computers and Rockets.
Our ancestors are failures. The United States is a failed state.
Shit on your parents. Your traditional way of life is nothing but slavery and male bigotry.
The time of the Colored Trans Lesbian Rocket Computor Fashion Scientist is now!!!
There's literally nothing I can think of that's cringier than some genetic dead end socially outcast low status loser trying to "self improve" to fit into society. It's like they're so far off the mark I don't even know where to begin with them.
The average person, and even the above average, just exist and the things that you consider "normal" just happen to them. No high schooler ever had to "self improve" to get a girlfriend, he just existed, thought it would be cool and fun to play sports, and a girl was attracted to him. There's no thought in any of this, it just happened through the natural flow of life, no "self improvement" necessary.
That's what happens when you're not a genetic dead-end mentally ill freak, you don't ever find yourself one night lying in bed alone wondering why you don't have a single friend or you've never kissed a girl at 23 years old. You don't devise a plan to stop touching your dick for six months in order to look a girl in the eye. You just exist, you go with the societal flow, and you end up with a wife, a nice job, a house and some kids. If you missed out on this flow, it's probably because you're complete genetic shit.
I know this is pasta because I've seen it before, but I'll bite. It's not about "trying to fit into society" for most people (though for some it may be). Refer to the second post: it's the principle of struggle.
Does someone have Evola books in pdf? Id like to see his ideas for myself, but not only he was never translated to polish so i cant get his books in paper, but also i cant find pdf of them online.
Jordan Thompson
Wanting to challenge oneself received a large amount of anger from you user. Why is that?
Practical DIY skills for sure, things like basic car or bike maintenance, perhaps some carpentry or electrician work
Logan Myers
Outdoor skills such as identifying animal tacks, plants, constellations, navigational skills, being able to start a fire and construct a shelter, things like that
Benjamin Sanders
Thanks, would you recomend something to start with?
Leo Russell
I've not actually read any of Evola's works yet, but I'm planning on starting soon too. I have this infographic though
Here's a tad more complete version with recommended warmup and stretching. I've been doing pretty much exactly this since 2015, and while I've certainly made some ajustments and additions, it's possibly the most complete body weight routine available on the internet.
I installed a pullup bar and bought sandbags to put in a backpack for weighted calisthenics. It's obviously not the same, so I reduced my calories, and I'm calling this an aggressive cut while trying to maintain as much muscle as I can. No excuses, user.
I once found a torrent with all of his books and downloaded it. I don't have it on hand or remember where I found it, but I remember it didn't take me long to find. Do a little searching, the torrent is still out there.
Male version should include taking things apart and putting them back together. My father was very flawed, but I appreciate that he showed me how to fix things. Chopping wood is underrated. Men who have office jobs should own a business suit and know how to ace an interview and how to conduct a meeting.
Female version should include cooking at various difficulties and cleaning efficiently. A friend of mine told me she found a schedule online for household duties and started following it. She said her apartment is always clean now, and she has a better diet.
Both sexes should know how to make a budget, how to shop for necessary goods, how to save money, and some investment basics.
I will think it might be a Western thing. I've had a few Slavic girls tell me they don't respect men who don't know how to fix things, and one shit on me because I don't know how to do electrical work (rewiring, etc) and her father does. Meanwhile I impressed one of my exes because I fixed a vacuum and a dishwasher. I admit I'm shit with cars (just basic maintenance, change a battery, can change my oil if I need to) but my younger brother doesn't even know how to check the fluids. The lightbulb thing, though...that's concerning if legit.

>books in pdf >have to use an electronic device to read them That's anti-/SIG/

Kek i hate to say it but I agree.

The apostrophe is possessive, the ancestors belong to you, you would know if you're people actually invented the language, but like all things you steal them and misuse it
Ive been working out for the past 2 weeks. Im skinny so im starting to see my stomach muscles and veins are starting to pop out more in my arms and stomach. Feelsgoodman ive found something i really enjoy thats good for me.
Haven't fapped in 5 days straight. Holy fuck, I've never felt that good in years. Is this why the Church talked against masturbation? Is this the power the ancients talked about?
Good work lad, keep it going. You reap what you sow.
Oliver Russell
Why are you so critical of those who, through no fault of their own, were born with genetics that aren't strongly desirable among many females, or had shitty upbringings that influenced their social misfortunes?
What is it that angers you so much about those who have struggled to figure out how to exist at ease in this world?
Why is it that you want to discourage these people from actively trying to improve their lives?
Andrew Cook
Based. I stopped at the end of last year and I've not looked back since.
Dominic Bennett
I notice this too when I get in the habit of doing pushups and dumbbell exercises regularly.
Nathan Campbell
What do you guys think of the keto diet? Is that am improvement?
Leo Ortiz
MY ANCESTORS ARE SMILING AT ME, IMPERIALS. CAN YOU SAY THE SAME?
No diet is inherently good or bad, try it and see if it works for you.
Benjamin Peterson
Now that I think about it, there should be something there about reading, for both sexes. What exactly to read would be a matter of debate, especially how to scale it into different levels. I do believe, however, that every educated person should know at least two languages, absolute minimum, preferably more. This one is more for those of us who live in Anglophone countries: it's unacceptable for an educated person to know only one language.
I'm not Christian, but I have to admit that there is absolutely value in having that sort of community, and in having some sort of spiritual guidance. Maybe finding a way to posit this sort of engagement in a generic or open manner might be good to improve. >inb4 divisive religious argument Whatever religion makes you a better person serves well enough for intended purpose.
It's a good way to lose a shitload of weight. I personally have had good experiences with cyclical keto, but I don't think it's for everyone.
