True. But the left in general, and churches in particular, have a rather critical weakness in their thinking, in my experience. And that's the opinion of non-whites.
It's why feminists and the LGBT crowd will happily defend muslims and hardcore Christians from Africa; they vote for them. They don't really care if they're not progressives, or socialists. They care that they get votes, or maintain a place in their community, off of their support.
Problem is, most of that support is far more nationalist, at odds with Western nationalists due to the associations with imperialism and the threat of their position in the western world (or in America's case, their history with white Americans); and *that's* why they tend to side with the left, for now.
All that's required to swing the base of the left is an honest conversation.
